Step1  Warm-up

I say you do & I do you say.

【设计意图】 热身环节通过 I say you do & I do you say 复习旧知，营造活跃轻松的课前气氛，拉近师生距离，使学生带着积极和活跃的心态投入课堂中，并为引出新知做好铺垫。

Step2 Presentation

A.  Show the learning task

T: Children, do you like Sunday? Why? 通过与学生讨论周末的生活引出本课的教学任务和课题，在此同时教师板书课题：Module 8 Unit 2 Sam is going to ride a horse.

本环节中大部分学生能用所学的知识进行交流。

B.Guessing game.  

1. Show a part of the teacher’s picture. Let the students guess: What is the teacher going to do? 引出本课主题和重点句型 “第三人称单数 is going   to do …  ”

2. Show a map for the students. Let’s the students practice “I’m going to do… ” . 通过让学生自主表达,让他们提高口语表达能力。

3．教师利用多媒体、单词卡片、动作表演等多种形式出示单词fish hooray领读。

本环节采用多媒体、单词卡片、动作表演等多种方式让每一个单词在学生脑海中重现。分组读、个人读、表演读等多种形式练习单词，提高了学生的学习兴趣，避免枯燥。

C. Learn the text

1．Listen!两只小鸟在说什么呢？

2．整体感知，回答问题

(Sam and Amy and Lingling ) They are going to do …tomorrow.

解决问题，引出句型：Sam is going to ride a horse.  Amy is going to fly a kite.

Lingling is going to row a boat.

【设计意图】 由解决 Sam 和 Amy和Lingling将要做什么导入课文的学习，激发学生学习课文的欲望；学生带着自己提出的或者是在老师的帮助下提出的问题听录音，了解课文大意。

3. Follow and try to mine it.

Let’s follow the video and try to mine it. Pay attention to your pronunciation and intonation.

【设计意图】让学生跟读录音，模仿语音语调，培养学生良好的朗读习惯，在这个过程中教师随时反馈学生的发音情况。

 Step 3 Extension:

T: Look at these pictures. (幻灯片出示踢足球、游泳、看电视、听音乐、打篮球、做作业、看书、各种动物图片)I’m going to listen to music On Sunday. What are you going to do? Talk to your friends, please.学生小组内活动。

本环节中课件踢足球等图片的出示让学生将所学知识灵活运用到现实生活之中，并给了孩子们自主选择的机会，培养了学生自主学习的能力。学生在小组内练习，是为了让每个孩子都开口说英语，用英语，以锻炼他们的口语和语言综合运用能力。
