Hattie was a big black hen.

One morning she looked up and said,"Goodness gracious me!"I can see a nose in the bushes!

Hattie是一只黑色的大母鸡。有一天早餐她一抬头发现了什么东西，说到：“天啊！我看见树丛里有一个鼻子！”

"Who cares?"said the sheep.

"So what?"said the horse.

"What's next?"said the cow.

“谁在乎呢？”羊说“那又怎么样？”马说“然后呢？”牛说.

And Hattie said,"Goodness gracious me!I can see a nose and two eyes in the bushes!"

母鸡Hattie又说：“天啊！我看见树丛里有一个鼻子和两只眼睛！”

And Hattie said,"Goodness gracious me!I can see a nose and two eyes,two ears,two legs,and a body in the bushes!"

母鸡Hattie说：“天啊！我看到灌木丛里有一个鼻子，两只眼睛，两只耳朵，两条腿，还有一个身体！”

"Good grief!"said the goose."Well,well!"said the pig."Who cares?"said the sheep."So what?"said the horse."What's next?"said the cow.

鹅说：“天哪！”猪说：“好吧，好吧！”羊说：“谁在意呢？”马说：“那又怎样？”牛说：“然后呢？”

"Oh,no!"said the goose."Dear me!"said the pig."Oh,dear!"said the sheep."Oh,help!"said the horse.

“哦，不！”鹅说。“哇塞！”猪说。“哦，天哪！”羊说。“哦，救命！”马说。

But the cow said,"Moo!"so loudly that the fox was frightened and ran away.

这时，牛叫道：“哞！”声音很大，狐狸被吓跑了。

And they were all so surprised that none of them said anything for a very long time.

所有的动物都惊呆了，很久很久都没有说话。
