由“有机建筑“派代表人德国建筑师汉斯·夏隆(Hans Scharoun,
1893-1972)设计的柏林爱乐音乐厅,建成于1963年,位于柏林文化广场,是柏林爱乐团的心中的圣地。由于其屋顶形状貌似帐幕,被称为“卡拉扬的马戏团”。
“船”的设计理念应用于建筑,圆形的窗户,每个回廊代表着船身的不同部位。舞台设置在音乐厅的中央,观众席分布在舞台四周,呈“梯田式”排列,便于观众与乐师之间自由的情感交流。大厅的平、剖面形状及座席的设置呈不规则的形状,天花板均为凸弧形。因而决定了建筑的外部富于变化、曲折的独特形状。
1987年, 夏隆逝世后,由建筑师维斯尼沃斯基(Edgar
Wisniewski)接管,在旁边建造一座室内音乐厅,实现了夏隆计划已久却未能实现的蓝图,是夏隆"机能性建筑"理念的最佳诠释。
The Berliner Philharmonie designed by important exponent of organic
architecture and German architect Hans Scharoun in 1963 is a
concert hall in the Kulturforum of Berlin. Home to the Berlin
Philharmonic Orchestra, the building is acclaimed as Karajan’s
Circus for the tent-like ceiling.
“Boat” design concept is used in the whole architecture. The round
windows and the corridors in the building stand for different parts
of the boat body. Around the center of the music podium the ranks
of spectators rise in irregularly placed terraces convenient for
the free emotional exchange between audience and the musicians. The
plan, section and the seats are set in irregular shape which
decides the changeable winding shape of the
façade.
In 1987 Edgar Wisniewski took over the project after Scharoun's
death and designed a new indoor concert hall nearby realizing the
blueprint of Scharoun planned for a long time and being the best
work of Scharoun’s organic architecture.
