教学目标：
1.学生能听、说、读、写单词：Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,
Saturday.
2.学生能听懂新句型 What day is today
?并能正确回答。 以及能听懂句子How many days are there in a week ?

3.学生能听懂并会唱歌曲“He’s wearing red
trousers”
学情分析：四年级学生已经接触了一年多英语，基本能听懂教师的课堂用语和指令，大部分学生热爱英语，课堂氛围活跃。
教学重难点：
1.学生能听懂，会说，认读并书写词汇：day, today,
week.
2.学生能听懂会说句子What day is today
?
3.星期类这七个单词的记忆和背诵。
教学过程：
Step 1 : Class opening and
review
Greeting: Hello, boys and
girls. How are you ? Nice to meet you !
Review: Before our new class,
let’s review some words. OK?
教师出示前几节课学习的衣服类词汇图片，师问：What is this ?生答：This is a
______. 师问： What are these?
生答： These are
_______.
(鼓励回答正确的学生，从而提高学生的积极性）

出示日历问What is this ? 引出本课主题“Days
of the week”
(1)教授星期类词汇：Sunday, Monday,
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday,
Saturday.
（师领读，生跟读，分组读，拍手快慢读单词）
教师分别提问What is the meaning ?
出示汉译，并介绍加拿大的日历，第一天是星期日，了解西方的文化。
(2)介绍新句型：What day is it ? It’s
_______.
(3)教师提问How many days are there
in a week ? 师生Let’ s count , 得出答案

每个单词都是以day结尾，首字母大写。 课件出示星期类顺口溜，方便学生记忆单词，师生一起朗读。
