《神策军碑》全称《皇帝巡幸左神策军纪圣德碑》，碑石大小不明，由崔铉撰文，柳公权书。此碑为柳公权晚年68岁所书，唐末原碑被毁，碑文记录了唐武宗李炎巡幸左神策军事，此碑具有重要的历史价值和书法价值，现北京国家图书馆藏有一册宋代拓本，世称宋拓孤本。

《神策军碑》是柳公权楷书代表作之一，加之此碑刻工精良，拓本与真迹无异，历来有“天下第一正书”之称。此碑笔法与结构极为精炼而凝重，保留了左紧右舒的传统结构。运笔方圆兼施，运用自如，笔画敦厚，沉着稳健，气势恢宏，充分的体现了柳体楷书浑厚而又开阔的艺术体征。
