楷书四大家之一的欧阳询，字写得特别好，但人长得非常寒碜，活像一只大猴子，这画像美化了他，他的相貌被长孙无忌嘲讽为猴子。欧阳询人丑字不丑，《九成宫醴泉铭》外表平正暗藏险绝，不细察还真看不出来；就像一个人外表很忠厚，但一肚子的计谋。请看《九成宫醴泉铭》中的智慧。

1. 大多数笔画在一个方块内，个别笔画伸出方块。

“绝”“观”字大部分对得很齐，控制在一个方块内，但最后的钩伸展出去了。汉字是方块字这是就基本特点而言，如果你傻乎乎的把每个字都写方了，就成美术字了。
