一发现目标，不是激动而是首先停下来的这个行为。

最初，这种指示犬被应用在捕鸟狩猎中。狗狗们发现目标后静止不动并指示猎物的方向，让猎人们有时间在他们把鸟从灌木丛中赶起来前把捕鸟网架好。就这样，经过代代选育我们有很多猎犬品种都是具有”指示“行为。所以如果你的狗狗出现这样的行为，那是他们发现了感兴趣的东西。
