外形艳丽　拥有一副性感慵懒的低沉嗓音　成为中国低音女歌手范本

幕前常演出坏女人　形象烟视媚行　放浪形骇

成为４０／５０年代华语影坛荡妇首把交椅

幕后亦作风大胆　豪爽有义气

被称为‘一代妖姬’‘歌坛恶女’‘低音歌后’

 

本名史永芬　出生于北京　父亲为军阀下军需官

学生时代曾参加北平沙龙剧团

１９３８年曾秘密结婚数月

前往东京女子大学艺术系就读（谣传是被中国政府派去当特务）

１９３８年演出日本宣传电影［东亚和平之路］

１９４３年到日本学习声乐

回到中国　进入演艺圈　

１９４３年进入影坛　加盟华影　主演卖座电影［桃李争春］　一炮而红

以歌舞片为主　每片必歌　

同年主演卖座片［恋之火］　唱红同名主题曲

４０年代成为上海七大歌星与五大歌后之一

战后因与日伪关系　淡出上海演艺圈两年　没被清算（谣传是国民政府特务　所以逃过一劫）

在平津夜总会唱歌

１９４７年主演卖座片［十三号凶宅］　一人演出四角　成为事业代表作之一

并在影坛成功复出

当时上海百代唱片公司所拿版税仅次于周璇

１９４８年主演卖座歌舞片［柳浪闻莺］　穿插十五首歌曲　唱下中国影坛之最

同年主演卖座片：［悬崖勒马］［人尽可夫］

１９４９年搬到香港发展　加入长城电影公司

主演卖座爱情文艺片［荡妇心］

１９５０年主演大卖爱情文艺片［一代妖姬］　奠定长城电影公司在香港影坛地位

片名从此成为其代号

同年主演卖座片［玫瑰花开］

１９５１年与美国军官结婚　定居日本

１９５３年淡出影坛（当时片酬为２万元）　前往日本东京开设夜总会　生意兴隆　

但婚姻失败　丈夫花光其积蓄  有不愿好散　进出法院二十余次　加上生意又遭亏损

１９５６年解决婚姻问题　回港继续歌唱与电影事业　创立国光电影公司　集制片　导演　演员　编剧于一身

主演卖座片［鲜牡丹］　成功复出

１９５９年正式退出演艺圈

１９６９年与小她２０岁的富商影迷结婚　定居马来西亚吉隆坡

１９７８年在台湾高雄短暂复出演唱　

偶尔复演出参加颁奖典礼

结婚三次  情史与唱出的名曲一样丰富
