英语高考话题作文8：正确对待错误

It is unavoidable that（不可避免地） we may commit some mistakes（犯错误） now and then. What matters is our attitudes towards them. For my own part, I have the impression that it is mistakes that can serve as a stepping stone to our success.（是走向成功的奠基石）

Based on my personal experience, I learn that I can never attach too much significance to mistakes. The other day, I failed the exam, thus failing to live up to my parent’s expectation（不辜负父母的期望）. Facing so many mistakes, not only did I feel blue（感到沮丧的）, but also I considered it a shame.Weighing the pros and cons(权衡利弊), I thought I must gather the courage to（鼓起勇气去…） face them. After analyzing carefully, I gained lots of experience and I made much progress in my next exam. As far as I can judge, I am greatly convinced（完全相信） that mistakes reveal（揭露/泄露） where success lies.

According to what has been mentioned above, I have strong grounds for believing that mistakes are what it takes to fulfill our goal（实现目标所需要的）. Anything fades next to（逊色于） experience gained from mistakes. It is mistakes and learning from mistakes that account for（作为对…的解释/诠释）our success.
