1．语言技能目标
（1）能够听懂谈论发明及其应用的对话；
（2）能够谈论已有的发明创造给人类带来的生活的变化；
（3）能够读懂谈论发明创造的文章；
（4）能够使用含有被动语态的句子表述发明对人类的影响，并恰当的使用as a result, because 和 so 。
（5）能够口头讲述一种发明的发展历程，提出自己的意见，并与同学们交流。
2．语言知识目标
（1）功能： 能够谈论已有的和未来的发明。
（2）语法：能够掌握一般将来时的被动语态。
（3）词汇
基准目标-----borrow，put up, mainly, thousands of ,page, electronic, powerful, full, fix, instructions, lend , properly, look through, printing, at a time, by hand, development, trade ,result, spread, in a way, introduction, amount, store, form, connection, single, direction, replace,
