When I began to learn dancing

I have been learning dancing for four years. I began to learn dancing when I was six years old. And one day, when I watched TV, I saw YangLiPing who danced very beautifully and professionally. Since that moment I have determined to learn dancing. But as you know, to learn dancing well is pretty demanding, so for a couple of times I wanted to quit studying, fortunately, my mother always encourages me to purse my dream like YangLiPing. So I keep on dancing until now.

Did I like dancing when I was a little girl

Actually, I didn’t like dancing when I was a little girl. The reasons are as following: firstly because dancing is too difficult for me. For example I must learn to do series rolls forward, backward and lots of challenging moves.

Secondly I must learn 24 pieces of dances and I must do all of them well. What’s more, I need to do all the moves by following music rhythm. During the test, there are six people in our team. We must work as a team together. At that time l was just six years old, it was too tough. Finally, because teachers were very strict and they often punished some students when students make some bad moves. In order not to get punished, I tried again and again.

Why do I like dancing now

Do you know why I do like dancing now? Let me tell you. After finishing boring basic moves learning and I can do them it fluently. I felt that the teachers would not punish you, if you did the dancing homework great plus the teachers would praise you. I got praise many times that, I felt very happy. I have already learnt dancing for five years, I learned a lot of dance movement, and I can dance pretty well. I attended many performances, also I’ve gained some awards and you know I’m a little girl, I like beautiful clothes. Wherever I went to dance I could wear different clothes. Some of them are beautiful and some of them are cool. It’s amazing to show your dance moves in front of people without any doubt, dance has become a part of my life.

An unforgettable performance for me

Well, in the past few years, the most unforgettable performance was the one we went to the Great Hall of The People. You know it’s hard to have a chance to go there. When I was eight years old, I was lucky enough to go there with my mother and my dance partners. I knew it was dance that brought me the precious chance. There, I saw a lot of national leaders. And I was very nervous and excited. My mom told me that, don’t worry! You will make it. Of course the show was very successful, since then, I changed, I began to enjoy dancing in front of people, and I’m not nervous any more. In 2007 I went to Hong Kong with my mother, it is the greatest performance that I have ever had.

My parents support me to learn dancing

This year, my school dance team attended Beijing dance Festival, and obviously I was one of them. The training time was very limited. It took pretty much all our free time to practice, but the dance show was too difficult for me, I can’t bear it, at the same time, my leg was hurt, the doctor told my mother, that I couldn’t do any sport, and I couldn’t dance. By hearing it, without any disappointment, I felt happy. So I said to my mum, can I give up dancing? But you can guess, my mother totally objected, she stared at me “ No, you can’t,” no you can’t. Frankly, I didn’t really want to give up .so I quickly changed my mind, I must insist on dancing. Because of my hard work, our team had got the heading praise. At that time I realized, our life can’t be successful all the time, but we must keep on pursuing our dream.       

What’s the advantage of dance?

I hold the view that dance has a lot of advantages, such as dance can make you more strong and healthy, it can mould you thoughts and feelings, it makes us more united and it can help you learn music and sport . Don’t worry that when you dance; you may get hurt or fall down, most of the time, dancing can be very safe. More over, dancing makes me more self-confident. Dance is useful to us, I will keep learning dancing, until I don’t have any spare time. I think dancing is a still. And I’m so fond of it.
