Dear Jack,

How is everything going with you?

am happy to hear that you will visit China. As we all know, different countries have different manners and customs. Here are some of ways of life in China. Please follow them.

First, you must walk on the right side of the road when you are in China because the traffic keeps to the right. Second, you should say hello instead of bowing when you meet others for the first time. Third, we usually use chopsticks to eat with. Furthermore, the host usually asks you to eat more food. But if you are full, you may not eat up all the food on the plate. After dinner, the host often makes tea for you.Last, you should say goodbye politely before you leave.

hope you will enjoy your stay here.

                                                                                                          Yours

Dear Jack,

How are you? I’m glad to hear you’ll visit China. Different countries have different customs; now let me tell you some Chinese traditions.

First of all, you must walk on the right side of the road in China because the traffic keeps to the right; it’s different from that in England. Second, when you meet people in China, you should say “Hello” instead of bowing. But when you meet older people you should say “Nin Hao”. Third, the Chinese use chopsticks to have a meal, it’s not easy for you to do that, I think. So before you come, try to learn to eat with chopsticks. The hosts usually ask you to eat a lot. If you are full, you needn’t eat everything up. It’s a good idea to say something like “That’s very nice, thank you” to show that you enjoy the food. Finally, after a meal, people often makes tea to drink, by the way, tea is a kindof traditional beverage in China. Before you leave, you must say “goodbye”politely.

hope this helps! Remember, “When is Rome, do as the Romans do”!

                                                                                                   Yours
