2.    Questions

第一个题型是matching 题,典型题目:which section contains the following information.

Choose NO MORE THAN TWO WORDS AND/OR A NUMBER.

17 For what period of time has hearing loss in schoolchildren been studied in New Zealand

Two factors contributing to classroom noise.

2.1.          Which section contains the following information(1-5)

1 an account of a national policy initiative

2 a description of a global team effort

3 a hypothesis as to one reason behind the growth in classroom noise

4 a demand for suitable worldwide regulations.

5 a list of medical conditions which place some children more at risk from noise than others

6 the estimated proportion of children in New Zealand with auditory problems.

The New Zealand Ministry of Health has found from research carried out over two decades that 6-10% of children in that country are affected by hearing loss.

Answer: 6

同时,也发现了第二个题型的第一题的答案:for what period.: two decades.

(2) B段:A  preliminary study in New Zealand has shown that classroom noise presents a major concern for teachers and pupils.

Education researchers Nelson and Soli have also suggested that recent trends in learning also invlove collaborative interaction of multiple minds and tools as much as individual possession of information. This all amounts to hightened activity and noise levels.

3 a hypothesis as to one reason behind the growth in classroom noise关于教室噪音增加的一个假设理由. Hypothesis 对应 suggest, growth in classroom noise 对应hightened activity and noise levels.

Choose,Two factors contributing to classroom noise.

2a description of a global team effort I-INCE, on the advice of the World Health Organization, has established an international working party, which includes New Zealand, to evaluate noise and reverberation control for school rooms.

D 段:those with a disability that affects their processing of speech and verbal communication could be extremely vulnerable. The auditory function deficits in question include hearing impairment, autistic spectrum disorders(ASD) and attention deficit disorders(ADD/ADHD).

5 a list of medical conditions which place some children more at risk from noise than others

F段:attention deficit disorders

The New Zealand Government has developed a New Zealand Disability Strategy and has embarked on a wide-ranging consultation process. 1 an account of a national policy initiative

I 段:4 ademand for suitable worldwide regulations.

It is imperative that the needs of these children are taken into account in the setting of appropriate international standards to be promulgated in the future.
