​本季作为鬼才设计师 John Galliano（ 约翰·加利亚诺 ），在 Christian Dior 的最后一季作品而颇受关注。 尽管有皇宫般瑰丽的秀场背景，有高档华丽的面料，精细的做工，耀眼光彩夺目的设计，还有 Karlie Kloss  ( 卡莉·克劳斯 ) 的震撼演绎，可 Christian Dior 的秀场还是被笼罩上了一层悲伤的色彩，这场“绝唱”来得太过突然。华丽依旧，气度仍在，却不再是属于 John Galliano 的辉煌。

本季 Christian Dior 2011秋冬系列灵感来自于英国国王 Edward VIII （爱德华八世）与 Wallis Simpson（华里丝·辛普森）的爱情故事，由 Karlie Kloss  ( 卡莉·克劳斯 )  开秀、Julia Saner （茱莉亚·赛娜）闭秀，Karolina Kurkova（卡罗莱娜·科库娃）、Candice Swanepoel（坎蒂丝·斯瓦内普尔 ）、Coco Rocha（可可·罗恰）、Daria S（达丽雅·斯托寇思）、刘雯、秦舒培、孙菲菲等相继亮相。
