大观公园位于昆明市西郊约3公里的高原湖泊---滇池湖畔，始建于明.洪武元年(1368年)，清.康熙三十五年(1698年)建大观楼，园也因此得名。，被赞为“万里云山一水楼".

9月27日，我们走进国家4A级旅游景区-----昆明“大观公园”。

公园面积很大，根据其地势，分成三片：近华浦、大观楼片，楼外楼、鲁园片，庾园、花圃及柏园片。

“大观楼”是园内最有欣赏价值的著名景点，建于清代，临水而建，为三层木结构建筑，飞拱翘檐，端庄大气，形式古雅。民国初年，大观楼辟为公园，唐继尧曾拨款修葺，并立其铜像于场地正中央。1940年，又在楼前池中竖三个白石墩，仿西湖“三潭印月”之景。

昆明“大观楼”长联气势宏大，意境深远，因几百年来脍炙人口，驰名中外，成为我国的名楼之一。

清乾隆年间，名士孙髯翁游历后，有感而发，写下一百八十字长联，被赞为“万里云山一水楼”，堪称“海内第一联”、“古今第一长联”名扬天下。

 “五百里滇池奔来眼底”，“数千年往事注到心头”。清末由云龙评价大观楼：“与岳阳黄鹤相衡，一样雄奇，各有大名垂宇宙……”毛泽东认为长联“从古未有,别创一格”，董必武、陈毅、郭沫若均题诗赞誉大观楼和长联。

走进“大观楼”，孙髯翁撰出180字的长联悬挂在大门两边，清晰可见。（上联是：五百里滇池，奔来眼底，披襟岸帻，喜茫茫，空阔无边。看东骧神骏，西翥灵仪，北走蜿蜓，南翔缟素，高人韵士，何妨选胜登临。趁蟹屿螺洲，梳裹就风鬟雾鬓，更苹天苇地，点缀些翠羽丹霞。莫辜负四围香稻，万顷晴沙，九夏芙蓉，三春杨柳。

下联是：数千年往事，注到心头，把酒凌虚，叹滚滚英雄谁在。想汉习楼船，唐标铁柱，宋挥玉斧，元跨革囊。伟烈丰功，费尽移山心力。尽珠帘画栋，卷不及暮雨朝云，便断碣残碑，都付与苍烟落照。只赢得几杵疏钟，半江渔火，两行秋雁，一枕清霜。）这副对联上联写景，下联论史，眼前美景与历史沧桑交汇，情景相生，浑然一体；气魄雄大，无与伦比。称得上名副其实的第一长联。

公园里荷塘多多、数不胜数，荷叶田田，或青翠或枯黄，有的只留下残枝败叶、枯黄的莲蓬，这是荷塘的秋色，别样的景致。目睹“一望无际”的荷塘，我心里暗自在想，在夏荷盛开怒放的时候，那满塘荷花该有多壮观啊，遗憾的是看不到此等景观。

“水在园中，园在水中”。大观公园紧傍滇池，滇池是个烟波浩淼风姿秀逸的高原湖泊，滇池湖水引入园内，水系围绕园路，时聚时分，有宽有窄，宽而水中倒影、波光粼粼，窄而婉转曲折，流水潺潺，彰显出“水随园转，园因水活”的意境。
