白云山风景区，位 于广州市北部，距市区约17公里，是九连山脉的南延部分，素有“南粤第一山”之称。山体相当宽阔，由30多座山峰组成，为广东最高峰九连山的支脉。面积28平方公里，主峰摩星岭高382米。登高可俯览全市，遥望珠江。每当雨后天晴或暮春时节，山间白云缭绕，蔚为奇观，白云山之名由此得来。

白云山风景名胜区西通黄婆洞及山北公园，东南有白云山南门，东面可以从五仙桥或者梅岗路步行上山。白云山南门（正门）还有上山索道，游客可乘登山缆车直达山顶。景区分为七个游览区：明珠楼游览区、摩星岭游览区、鸣春谷游览区、三台岭游览区、麓湖游览区、飞鹅岭游览区、荷依岭游览区，特色各异的景点星罗棋布。

  白云山风景名胜区，是新“羊城八景”之首、国家5A级景区和国家重点风景名胜区 ，自古就有“羊城第一秀”之称。6月9日上午，我乘坐地铁来到此景区，从西门坐游览车到位于半山腰的明珠楼，并在附近走走逛逛。

景区内峰恋重叠、林木葱郁，桃花涧里的桃树青翠一片，十分养眼，鸟语啾啾，花香四溢，溪涧纵横，空气清新。游客不多，一些广州市民带孩子在山水之中游玩，体验郊野生活。

  走路下山，边走边欣赏路边的风景。山林间水流潺潺悦耳动听，黄婆洞水库四周山峦葱茏、草木叠翠，湖水清澈，湖面碧波粼粼、倒影迷离，可谓山清水秀好风光。
