 "铛铛车"虽然长着复古的"脸",却有着一颗时尚的"心"。车内，除了电视机、空调、图文宣传书画外，还有WIFE可链接上网，部分座椅旁还有USB接口可供手机充电，适合当代人的需求，可谓“贴心”又周到。整辆车既有古老的韵味又有丰富的时尚内涵，是宣传集美旅游景点的又一种方式，也是一道靓丽的移动风景线。每到一站都有“铛铛铛......铛铛铛......”的响亮声和报站语音提示，很有特色。

 据悉，此次投用的7辆铛铛车车身颜色有红、橙、黄、绿、蓝五种，其中红色车身的共有三辆，代表象征集美的“嘉庚红”。

“铛铛车”每天09：00—19：00时，以龙舟池、厦门北站为始发站和终点站，每间隔20分钟双向对开（6月19--24日免费试乘)。沿途站点几乎囊括了集美所有主要旅游景点，有的停靠点（eg.厦门老院子站、园博苑南门站、天沐温泉站）设置在景区门口.
