                     --How to improve the writing skills

Aims:

1. Improve writing skills to get higher marks.

2. Know and learn how to write a better composition.

3. Realize the writing steps and write a good composition as well as possible

Key points:

  Improve the students’ ability to analyze and work out the problem.

Difficult points:

  Enable to analyze the questions properly and write right and good sentences.

  Enable to write a better composition

1. Do you think is it easy or difficult for you to write a good English composition?(3 mins)

   In generally，What do you do when you see the questions?

  (Write straight and translate Chinese into English.)

( read and identify the style，tense，person….)

 2. Talking  (students talk in pairs)  (3mins)

  students talk and say what they did.

To stimulate the students’ interest.

Step2: Presentation ( 26 mins)

1. Talk to guide the test questions 

What do you think a good composition include?

What did you do before writing?  

Read and find the points and pay more attention to the tense and person

What did you do while writing?   Express the meanings/ tense  

What did you do after writing?

Analyze the steps of writing

2. Analyze the test question in 2016 

1. Show the question and guide the students analyze it.

Step4. Summing up (5 mins)

 Let the students summarize what they have learned this unit.
