名称：中国美术馆典藏活化系列展：世相——华君武百年诞辰纪念特展

华君武（1915—2010），是我国20世纪漫画史上极具代表性的艺术家。他早年从事抗日宣传工作，后任《人民日报》美术组组长、中国美协副主席。

华君武投身于漫画创作长达七十余年，创作思路宽阔，对社会现象和世态变化拥有良好洞察力，艺术表现方式灵活多样。其作品紧扣时代脉搏，构思幽默机智，笔法简练而富有民族特色。他手中的画笔，既是战斗的武器，也是社会不良现象的扫帚和抹布。

值此华君武先生百年诞辰之际，中国美术馆特从他捐赠的2000余件作品中遴选出两百余件精品奉献给观众，以此纪念华君武杰出的艺术成就。
