　　托盘的定义：

　　中国国家标准《物流术语》对托盘(pallet)的定义是：用于集装、堆放、搬运和运输的放置作为单元负荷的货物和制品的水平平台装置。作为与集装箱类似的一种集装设备，托盘现已广泛应用于生产、运输、仓储和流通等领域，被认为是20世纪物流产业中两大关键性创新之一。

　　托盘作为物流运作过程中重要的装卸、储存和运输设备，与叉车配套使用在现代物流中发挥着巨大的作用。托盘给现代物流业带来的效益主要体现在：可以实现物品包装的单元化、规范化和标准化，保护物品，方便物流和商流，托盘又名栈板，夹板。

　　物流中的打托盘是指为便于装卸搬运、减少货损货差、提高装箱效率、降低物流成本，而将一定数量零散的货物打成托盘(Pallet)的形式——即从散货变成托盘货的过程(Palletization)。

　　如何进行打托盘?

　　(1)尽量不要超板，同时打满托盘，不浪费托盘空间。

　　Try to put cargo onto a pallet within the size of pallet, and make full use of the pallet for saving space。

　　(2)根据箱型、包装和货物重量确定打托盘高度，一般不超过1.5米。

　　Height of the staking should be decided in terms of the size and weight of the cartons，not more than 1.5metre is better。

　　(3)原则上不允许同一个托盘上放多票货;同一票货打成多个托盘的，各个托盘上的货物数量要一样(尾板除外)。

　　In general, only one item for one pallet。Quantity of each pallet must be equal, except the balance pallet。

　　(4)尽量将货物交错码放，要求重心平衡;同时酌情用草绳捆绑货物以免倾倒。

　　Use rope to tie the cargo if necessary. Balance is very important for palletizing, or else, it will be much more possible to fall off。

　　(5)根据包装及货物的耐压程度决定是否叠板(即两个甚至多个装了货物的托盘叠起来)。

　　Pallet stacking should be decided according to condition of the packing and product。

　　(6)打托盘时，包装的唛头应朝外——保证能看得到，一般要求根据货物包装上的箭头指示摆放。

　　Shipping marks on the carton must be visible for each pallet。
