一、案例背景分析
1.
本节课的教授对象是小学六年级学生。在本节课之前他们已经学习了若干动词短语的一般过去形式,如:watched TV,washed clothes,cleaned the room,played football ,visited grandparents,以及句型 “What did you do last weekend? I visied my grand parends.…”.

Wu:Did you help them clean their room?

3.设计思路
(1)以兴趣为导向,激发学生的学习热情。在猜一猜,竞赛、师生互动问答、创编歌谣和对话等丰富的教学活动中,激发学生的求知欲和好奇心,变被动学习为主动学习。同时突出教学重点和突破教学难点。

Step 1: Warming up and revision

教师用课件呈现五年级下册Unit 1B Let’s Chant 的内容,师生一起说歌谣。

利用Free Talk 复习旧知识,为教学新内容做铺垫;Let’s Chant活动营造了轻松、愉快的课堂氛围,使学生快速进入学习状态。
3.看一看,猜一猜
(1) 教师用课件呈现照片的一部分,让学生根据看到的部分猜测教师上周末做的事情。
T: Every weekend, I usually sleep a long time. Last weekend I was busy but happy. Do you know what I did?
S1: Washed clothes?
S2 : …?
(2) 课件中的照片消失,学生根据回忆说出教师上周末所做的事情。
T: What did I do last weekend?
S1: You washed clothes, went shopping and …

(3) 教师呈现所有照片,引导学生一起说自己上周末所做的事情。

通过看一看、猜一猜活动引领学生复习学过的动词和短语,培养学生的观察能力。通过让学生回忆图片所呈现的教师上周末所做的事情,训练学生的记忆力和口语表达能力。

教师先提问几位学生,接着引导学生集体提问数位学生,之后要求同桌互相问答。

让学生根据自己的实际情况运用所学句型进行问答练习,有助于将课文内容与学生的生活实际有机结合。分组操练、集体操练和对子操练活动为学生运用所学语言提供了各种机会。

3. 师生问答,操练句型
在学生表演完自编的新歌谣后,教师向学生提问,要求学生根据自己的实际情况作答;

T: Did you help them to clean their room?

设计此环节旨在学习本课重点句型“Did you …? Yes, I did. No, I didn’t
教师引导学生用《两只老虎》的曲调唱刚才所学的句型。
T: Now, let’s sing a song.

引导学生用他们熟悉的旋律唱出所学的重点句型,不仅能帮助学生巩固这一句型,还能营造轻松、活泼的课堂氛围。
(2)说一说
教师呈现本课对话中的人物Chen Jie 的头饰,引导学生用“Did you …? 提问。
T: We all had a good time last weekend. How about Chen Jie? What did she do?
学生两人一组, 用句型“Did you …?
S1: Did you …?
S2: Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
学生听录音并回答问题。

说一说的练习起到了过渡作用,既巩固了前面所学的知识,又自然引出了Let’s talk 中的对话。
5. 读一读
教师用课件播放Let’s talk 中的对话,让学生带着问题。
T: Chen Jie cleaned the room. How about Wu Yifan and John? Listen to the tape with two questions: What did Wu Yifan do ? How about John?
学生先跟着录音读,然后打开课本分角色朗读。

教师提供若干场景和句型,让学生两人一组创编对话。以下是一组学生创编的对话:

三、教学反思
本节课的教学设计有以下几个特点:
1.返璞归真,扎实有效
本节课没有使用太多的教具,教学效果却丝毫未打折扣。简单的“看一看,猜一猜” “说歌谣” 和“唱一唱” 等活动使教学重点落到了实处,突破了教学难点,学生学得充实而快乐。
2.设计巧妙,激活课堂
本节课看似平淡无奇,却不乏设计巧妙之处。同样是看图猜词活动,有些教师可能回采用比较直观的方式呈现图片,而笔者却对图片做了巧妙的处理。例如,在让学生猜listened to music这个短语的含义时,笔者呈现的图片却是一架钢琴,让学生误以为是played the piano,而正确答案却出乎学生的意料。这样就增添了猜测活动的趣味性,激发了学生的学习兴趣,拓展了学生的思维。
