一、 教学设计

1、内容分析

PEP小学英语教材以话题为纲,以交际功能为主线,兼顾语言结构,逐步引导学生运用英语完成有实际目的的语言任务。本课是选自人教版PEP小学英语六年级上册Unit 4 I have a pen pal的第一课时。本课时是有关个人业余爱好方面的话题。而个人的业余爱好是学生所喜爱讨论的一个话题,教学内容与学生生活实际紧密结合。本节课的教学内容是学习动词短语riding a bike ,diving ,playing the violin, collecting stamps, making kites和能够运用句型“What is your hobby ? I like collecting stamps .”等询问并作出相应的回答。本课的大部分动词短语:play the violin , collect stamps , make kites 等在之前的教学中已经学过,所以学生对这几个动词短语并不陌生。因此本课的教学重点并不只是教学这几个短语这么简单。而是要求学生能够听、说、认读句子:What is your hobby? I like .He

likes.并在现实生活中能够灵活运用。

2、教学目标 

1能够听、说、认读下列动词短语的ing 形式 collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving, playing the violin, making kites

2能够听、说、认读句子:What is your hobby? I like collecting stamps. He likes.并在现实生活中能够灵活运用,做到语音准确,语调自然。

3能够在Group work 中灵活自然地与他人进行交流。

2教学重点 

能够在现实生活中灵活运用句型:What is your hobby? I like collecting stamps. He likes.What about you ?并在现实生活中能够灵活运用。

3教学难点

讲解动词ride ,make ,drive的现在分词形式,以不发音的字母e结尾的动词形式的变化。

4.教学策略

1我在整体设计上本着由浅入深,由易到难的原则,积极创设了能贯穿整个教学的情景线“Lily’s family ”,并以这个主题引出教学内容,展开各种活动,力求让学生在丰富有趣的活动中进行简单的交际和综合运用,提高学生的语言交际能力。

2)教学准备

a. 多媒体课件、录音机、录音带。

b.调查表

二、教学过程:

  Step 1:Warm-up

  1.教师热情地和学生打招呼问好,做简单的Free Talk.

  2.教师和学生一起说唱英语童谣《I Love Going Hiking》,并做出相应的动作。

  3.教师就歌曲内容进行提问,如:

  I love going hiking, do you like going hiking?

  When I go hiking, I like taking pictures. Do you like taking pictures?

I also like collecting leaves. That is my hobby…

  设计意图:让学生在唱唱、做做的轻松气氛中进入学习状态,同时为新课导入做铺垫。

  Step2: Lead in

  1.教师将本单元Let’s start的教学挂图呈现给学生,让学生认真看图,然后教师与一名学生示范。

 


  T: What’s your hobby? 教师随机将其板书。

  S: Swimming. What about you?

  T: I like .教师回答后示范填写Let’s start部分的表格。同桌或者周围同学进行问答、填表。

 

 

2.教师就学生填的表格进行提问:What is your hobby? 引导学生回答:“I like …

3.利用多媒体出示Lily的一张相片。

 

T:Look , I have a pen pal. She is Lily . 接着出示一张Lily的家庭照片。Today let’s meet Lily’s family. Ask the pupils to work in pairs to talk about the family and guess “What are their hobbies?” .

 

 

 

教师播放录音,接着提出问题:What are their hobbies?让学生边听边思考:[录音材料] :Hello , I’m  Lily . Welcome to meet my family . There are five people in my family . They are my father , my mother , my younger brothers and me . My father likes riding a bike . My mother likes diving. My brother,Mike likes playing the violin . What is John’s hobby ? He likes collecting stamps .And I like making kites . What about your family ? Tell me , please.

设计意图: 将本课的新知编成一篇有趣的文章:“Lily’s family ”,以此导入新课,形象生动,有效地吸引学生的注意力,让学生带着问题听录音有利于学生听力能力的培养。

Step 3: Presentation

1.Learn “riding a bike”

T: What is her father’s hobby ? (让学生再听一次录音根据短文内容回答。)

教师板书:He likes riding a bike .指出第三人称单数做主语,like要加s ,like后的动词要加ingride-riding 去掉结尾不发音的e再加上ing。同时告诉学生除了用He likes….回答还可以用 His hobby is ….来回答。

T:播放riding a bike录音 ,每播放一次,让学生跟读,并且鼓励学生为短语设计动作,边做动作,边读短语。Ask each group to read it one by one .(并比赛一下哪组学生读得最好,当学生发音不准时,及时纠正学生的发音,并给予支持和鼓励。)

老师用同样的 方法教授其他动词词组。然后,让学生听Let’s learn课文录音,要求学生边听边指,力求做到“眼到、手到、口到、心到”。

设计意图: 将词汇放在短文中教学, 这样使枯燥的词汇教学变得有实际意义,利用短文展示新课,在情景中渗透新知,以激发学生的思维。

Step 4: Consolidation

活动一:Play a game

做“听音乐传盒子”的游戏:教师把:“collecting stamps, riding a bike, diving, playing the violin, making kites等词条折叠后放进一个盒子里。音乐开始,学生按顺序传递盒子。音乐一停,拿到盒子的学生在盒中抽取一张词条,教师引导其他学生提问:“What’s your hobby ? ”,抽到词条的学生根据词条上的短语回答:“I like….

设计意图:让学生在富有趣味性的游戏任务中巩固和操练所学知识。

Step 5: Extension and development

活动一:Make a survey

.教师把Group work的教学挂图呈现给学生,让学生明白活动内容与过程。

学生带好纸笔在组内进行调查,互相询问:“What is your hobby?”调查完毕,各组派代表上台汇报调查结果:“…boys/girls like…”也可以说出名字,如:“…and…like…  

设计意图:通过调查任务,实现“Learning by doing ”教学理念,培养学生语言综合运用能力。更主要的是,在调查过程中,学生的学习情绪处于高峰期。马斯洛认为:一个处于情绪高峰期的人,他的责任心,主动性和创造力将得到无限的发挥。而且通过调查和会话,学生对所学的词组和句型的运用更加熟练,同时进行了书写练习。

活动二:Guess “What John’s hobby is .”

教师出示一张房间的图片,请学生根据房间的陈设猜猜主人的爱好。

 

 

 

 

 


T: Look ! This is a room . There is an end table and a bed . Guess what his hobby is .

S1: I think he likes… because there is /are….

学生们四人一组展开讨论。三分钟后学生分小组汇报讨论结果。

S1: I think he likes reading books because there are many books.

S2: I think he likes playing computer games because there is a computer.

S3: I think he likes playing the violin because there are many violins.

S4: I think he likes dolls beause there is a  doll on his bed .

T: Maybe you are right . I’m not sure . Perhaps we can know his hobby from his diary . Now read his diary and tell me what his hobby is .

                               Saturday                       June 20th

      I’m happy because today is my birthday. My mother buys a violin for me .I’m excited . I have many violins now. I like playing the violin . I am good at playing the violin . Today I play the violin for my family . They are very happy.

学生通过短文中的一些句子推断出答案:

SsHe likes playing the violin .

设计意图:通过观察房间的摆设猜主人的爱好,既培养学生的观察能力,又能有效启发学生的思维。学生在兴致勃勃完成活动的过程中不知不觉也操练巩固了本堂课所要掌握的语言。通过阅读小段文章获取信息,提高学生的阅读能力。

活动三:Introduce “My family ”

根据所学知识用英语简单地介绍自己家庭的个人爱好。For example This is my family .My father likes …. My mother likes…. My brother likes …and I like ….

教师在教室内巡视,并进行针对性帮助,然后邀请个别学生出来Introduce “My family ”

(评价,奖励)

设计意图:这一活动的设计,是为了更好地巩固本课的教学成果。并且给学生提供了一个运用语言的机会,因为培养学生初步运用语言的能力是小学英语的教学目的之一。

设计意图:要求学生能根据老师出示的图片用第三人称单数回答,主要是检查学生的知识掌握情况。

Exercise 2: “I can write ”

教师发给每人一张练习纸:       My Family

Hello . I’m Amy. There are four people in my family . My fahter is ________. He likes _______________. My mother is _______________. She likes ______________. My brother is ______________. What’s his hobby ? He like __________. I am __________ . I like _____________.

教师播放温馨、柔和甜美的音乐,让学生在轻松、愉快的气氛中完成以上的活动作业。教师在教室内巡视,并进行针对性的指导和帮助。(评价,奖励)

设计意图:通过写一写,有效地锻炼学生的英文写作能力。

Step 7小结

以下的ing形式有什么不同,你能找出规律吗?

规律:1.动词原形直接+ing

      2. 去掉不发音eing

2、总结本课的知识。

3师生一起总结小组比赛结果,并给予获胜组奖励。

设计意图:通过小结重申本课的重点,加深学生的认知。

Step 8Homework

(1)    Listen to the tape after class.

(2)    课后要求学生用英语去调查一下你身边的朋友、同学或老师的个人喜好,并做好记录。

设计意图:这些作业设计是开放性的,需学生主动去体验、实践、参与、合作与交流。目的不但能巩固所学知识,还能使学生在不知不觉中学到很多课外英语知识,这样既有利于促进学生听、说、读、写能力的提高,发展学生的语言运用能力,也有利于学生个性化、自主化发展。
