The daughter of the sea(海的女儿）
Character :美人鱼、王子、巫婆、海王、祖母、公主、牧师、旁白  

幕（一） Chapter One
旁白：Deep in the sea ,there lived a sea king ,who had been a widower for many years and his aged mother kept the palace  for him and took care of his daughters They were living happily .The grandmother always told them some stories. 
祖母：In the land, the flowers of are beautiful ,the trees of are green ,and the birds can sing so sweetly

人鱼：Wow, how beautiful! Grandmother,can i go out of sea now?
祖母: Oh, little Summary, you are so young...

人鱼：Em ...When can I see the beautiful things?

祖母：When you have reached fifteenth years old!Then,You can see the rocks in the moon light ,while the great slips are sailing by; and then you will see both forests and towns.
人鱼：how wonderful !

祖母：But remember, do not get close to the human.

人鱼：Human?

祖母：Yes, human ...is an evil kind.If you see them, run ,run away!
                   

                        幕（二)

旁白：The time flies quickly. Today,Summary is 15 years old .She can reach out of the sea , and see many beautiful things now.
人鱼：Oh, I can rise out of the sea !

The flowers, the sun, the wind...What a wonderful world! 

Em....What’s that ?Maybe it is an interesting thing? Leg? Oh, on ! It’s human .But why he lies on the shore.He may die here. Wake up! Wake up…
王子：Where am I ?And, what’s wrong ?
人鱼：Maybe You met a storm .And I see you here. Are you feeling good?

王子：Yeah, thank you.So, you have save me ?
人鱼：Yes.
王子：what’ s your name？

人鱼：my name is summary.

王子：Summary... Em...It’s a beautiful name.

（王子起和人鱼携手在场中漫步，旁白起）

                幕（三）（接幕二）
旁白：Maybe the GOD arranges,Summary ,the princes of the sea,and the prince of human, they have been together for several days and they fall in love with each other .But now they have to depart.

（王子人鱼对面站）
王子：I must go !The people need me !And, I want you ...go with me!
人鱼：No, I’m a fish,a mermaid, and you are a human. The difference makes the difference...

王子：No, go with me! My father is the greatest king of the world!

人鱼：（摇头）My prince, （退后）please...remember me!（游走）

王子：No! No!（追喊） Summary!    （半晌,自语) A girl? What a pity!But there are still many girls in the kingdom.

                        幕（四）

（海皇、祖母、人鱼上）
人鱼：Dear father and grandmother ,I have fallen in love with ...And I want to be with him forever.

海王：Oh, which sea boy is so lucky!

人鱼：He ...is a human ...

海王：What?! A human?

人鱼：Yes.

海王：No way ! You are a fish and he is a human being !If you go with him .you will not be happy!

人鱼：Grandma...
祖母：That’right ,my dear.It is not possible.
人鱼：（crying）No! Dad , grandmother I beg you ! I beg you !
海王：(angry)No! Don’t you remember your sister? She becomes the rock you see everyday. A human abandoned her!
（海王祖母下场。巫婆上场）
人鱼：What should I do? What should I do?
巫婆：ha …Ha…I can help you, little mermaid.
人鱼：who are you ?

巫婆：I am the Sea Witch. It’s me who changed your sister into a human.

人鱼：Help me!(抓住巫婆的手）

巫婆：（甩开手）The miracle needs sacrifice. What can you devote to GOD?

人鱼：（继续抓住巫师的手）Everything!

巫婆：（叹气) You are really like your sister... Go there , I’ll do it, do not disturb!

（施法，美人鱼变人，巫婆倒地）

小人鱼：（扶住）Why you do that?

巫婆：（weak)The miracle needs sacrifice...I can understand you and your sister. Cause love makes you stupid and happy...You must be hurry, now you are a human and you can’t stay in the sea for long. Your prince is in the capital.Go!

（美人鱼离去，巫婆看着她的背影）

巫婆：For love...Is it worth?...（倒地）      

                      幕（五）

（人鱼、巫婆下场，王子和公主、牧师上）
牧师：Prince , do you want to marry the princess and love her forever?
王子：（相视一笑）Yes,I do.
牧师：And princess, do you want to marry the prince and share the happiness and sorrow with him ?
公主：（羞涩）Yes, I do.
牧师：Change the rings . Now you have got married ,you should take care of each other from now on!  Wish GOD bless you!    Amen(阿门)! 

（王子和公主相视一笑，走出教堂，美人鱼刚好赶到，目睹了这一幕）
人鱼：(crying)Oh ,it’s not true! My prince, he has forgotten me ! The difference makes the difference...GOD! GOD! I am the most unhappy one in the world !But I still love him so much ...I’m so cold , I want to go home now ...（蹲下在旁白声中离场）

（旁白上场，谢幕）
旁白：Summary was very sad,so she goes home, and she dies in the sea as a human lady.From then on, there becoming lots of foam in the sea, they are around the rock ,and shinny in the sunshine.And...that’s the end of the story.
