Last Batch Was Shipped
To date we have shipped over to 250 Perception Neuron Kits to
backers and were about to deliver a shipment of over 900 on June
8th.
Unexpected Production Delays
And then something unexpected happened. During a routine QC check
we found some cracks in some of the housings. After some quick
investigation, we surmised
This was part of our second batch of 1500 housings order. (Please
note that the first batch sent to date is not affected by this -
the first batch was part of our first order of 500 units). It seems
the factory used incorrect temperature during the injection molding
process rendering the plastic brittle. So when the screws apply too
much pressure they may cause it to crack. See pictures. We
therefore stopped the whole shipment and a new batch of housing is
being delivered. This unfortunately pushing our shipping schedule
one month behind for anyone who has not received their units so
far. We apologize for this, and we are working to resolve the
issues with our suppliers. As we have explained many times PN is a
complex piece of precision equipment that is hand assembled out of
many parts. It is unique and a first of the market. It is NOT a
mass produced product churned out on an assembly line in millions
of units. Backers who do not understand these concept should

com.

has just been released online at
