中国科学院植物研究所之北京植物园。11月21日，专程前往瞻仰菩提树。进西门，东行100米，路北，月季园温室。温室内，佛祖释迦牟尼在菩提树下觉悟终成佛陀。20世纪50年代，印度总理尼赫鲁，将采自佛祖成佛处菩提树扦插繁殖之枝叶，赠与中国，保存于北京植物园。
