【初中快乐英语语法】I can’t pronounce some of the words(有些单词我不会读)

【例句】I can’t pronounce some of the words.

【大意】有些单词我不会读。（字面意思：我不会读一些单词）。

第一步：快乐识字

已经掌握noun（名词）和pronoun(代词)的小朋友记忆pronounce非常简单。

pronounce[prE5nauns]v.发音, 宣告, 断言（pro+nounc+e）

中古英语 pronouncen（pro+nounc+en），源自法语 prononcer(pro+nonc+er)。

注：法语中的nunc-变化为nounc-。可以理解为英语单词noun后面加c。

【法语】prononcer  [prɔnɔ~se]vt.发言, 发表, 宣布, 宣告（pro+nonc+er）

【拉丁语】pronuntio：pronuntio, pronuntiare, pronuntiavi, pronuntiatus v. announce; proclaim; relate; divulge; recite; utter;（pro+nunti+are）

【意大利语】pronunciare 宣告、发音、读（pro+nunci+are）

【西班牙语】pronunciar  v. pronounce（pro+nunci+are）

注：拉丁语中的nunti-在通俗拉丁语、法语、意大利语、西班牙语和英语单词pronunciation中变化为nunci-。

pronunciation[prE7nQnsi5eiFEn]n.发音, 读法（pro+nunci+ation）

【请牢记】pro-是拉丁语前缀，也是一个拉丁语介词。

【拉丁语】pro prep. on behalf of; before; in front/instead of;

instead of  adv.代替, 而不是...

小朋友一定要牢记单词noun。

noun[naun]n.名词

注：ou读[au]。

在noun前面加上前缀pro-就是pronoun。

pronoun[5prEunaun]n.代名词，代词（pro+noun）

什么叫“代名词”？

就是代替名词的词。

七年级上册——代词：用于代替名词、形容词或数词。

一定要注意：pro在拉丁语中就有“代替”的意思。

【作业】查词典找出10个英语中用到拉丁语前缀pro-的单词。

我相信，熟练掌握noun的小朋友可以十分轻松地掌握pronoun和pronounce。在此基础上，把nounc-变化为nunci-就可以不费吹灰之力掌握pronunciation。

第二步 快乐学语法

英语中，句子主要分为2大类：

1、说明主语行为的“主谓句型”（行为动词：主语做～）；

2、说明主语状态的“主系表”句型（系动词：主语是什么，主语怎么样）。

“I can’t pronounce some of the words”是一个主谓句型，重点是：

I can’t pronounce ～ 我不会读～

注：英语中情态动词和助动词后面必须使用动词原形（不带to的不定式）。

can't=can not 不能, 不会

can是一个情态动词，can not是它的否定形式。

肯定形式是：

I can pronounce ～ 我会读～

一般形式是：

I pronounce ～ 我读～

注：英语动词read表“阅读”，而pronounce表“发音，正确地念”。

类似的句子：

I can’t spell some English words. 有些英语单词我拼不出来。

去掉some：

I can’t spell English words.我不会拼写英语单词。

把can’t 去掉：

I spell English words.我拼写英语单词。

加上can：

I can spell English words.我会拼写英语单词。

加上some：

I can spell some English words.我会拼写一些英语单词。
