本单元的核心话题是描述动物和表达个人喜好,以及句式why do you like…?Because…。这也是本单元的教学重点。通过本单元的学习,学生应能较流利地运用所学词汇和句型描述动物,表达个人喜好。

四、单元学情分析
学生此前已经学过由why, where, what引导的特殊疑问句句型,具有了学习本单元知识的认知前提。形形色色的动物能激发学生的好奇心,产生了解它们的欲望,这有利于本单元知识的教学和学生学习兴趣的培养。

本节课,我获得了组内老师的很大帮助,邵老师给我们很明确地点出了课堂上语法课应该让学生掌握到什么程度,还有很多细节问题都是我应该注意的,首先对于导入环节,不应该限制学生必须用哪个句子,最好是用到全部有关的知识,可以谈论处于极大危险之中的动物,继而直接分组竞争,顺理成章。其次是课件内容过于繁琐,应该多图片少单词。学生个人活动较多,结对的学生活动较少,在问题设置上由简入难。
我对于学生的评价语有些单一,应该充分利用竖大拇指,微笑点头,鼓掌等让学生充分理解到老师的欣赏,从而更好地投入学习中。语音语调应该有高低起伏,不能整节课一个调下来,学生抓不住重点,会产生枯燥心理,影响学习效果。也就是小美姐说的初一孩子的普遍拉音现象,读个单词,齐说个句子,声音都拖老长,影响进度和教学效果,也影响学生语感,更甚至是影响听力。学生读错的单词要及时给与纠正,尤其是“带海鲜味”的威海方言英语,应该及时加以纠正制止,当时大家都还被邵老师的一句“see the sea”逗乐了,笑完之后不免会想到英语口语对学生的影响有多大!
