there be特殊句式句型的非谓语形式

1.“there be ”结构中的be可以有不同的时态、也可以和各种助动词或情态动词连用。另外，此结构中的"be" 有时可用"seem to be","happen to be", "remain" 等代替。如：

a. There have been many great changes in our hometown in recent years. ("there be "与助动词“have”连用。)句意：近年来，我的家乡发生了巨大的变化。

b.There must be a person who can help us. 一定有人能帮我们。

("there be "与情态动词连用。)

c.There seem to be wrong with the child.这孩子好像有些不舒服。     

2.there be 句型的非谓语形式

there be 句型的非谓语形式包括there being 和there to be 两种基本形式，

在句中主要充当主语或宾语。

1) 作主语：一般使用there being, 但如果there 前有介词for 时，用there to be.如：

a.There being a bookstore near the                              主语

school is a great convenience.

 句义： 学校附近有一家书店是非常便利的。

b.It is impossible for  there to be 

形式主语                        真正的主语

any more money                      

句意：不可能有更多的钱。

2)作宾语：一般使用there to be 结构，此时谓语动词通常是：expect, mean(打算)，want, intend, prefer等，表示一种“目前还未实现的愿望”，而there being 可以作介词的宾语，表示“已经存在的”事情。如;

a.I want there to be a lot of money in my pocket. 动词宾语

句义：我希望自己口袋里有很多钱。

b.The Chinese are proud of there being the Great Wall in the north of China.                       介词宾语

句义：中国人以在中国北部的长城而自豪。
