1、知道,是指通过识别或回忆,记住某些内容,它包括具体的知识及术语的知识和具体事实的知识,处理具体事物的方式方法的知识,学习领域中的普通原理和抽象概念的知识,其所要求的心理过程主要是记忆。
2、理解,指理解所传授的知识和信息的能力,一般可借助转化解释和推断三种形式来完成。
转化:用自己觉得有意义的话语来组织表达所传授的内容和知识;
解释:对所交流的信息进行解释和说明;
推断:通过目前的知识去推测未来的状况。
领会超越了单纯的记忆,代表最低水平的理解。
3、应用,是指对学习的概念法则原理的运用,想要达到应用层面的目标,学生只需要使用或者运用老师教给的知识,在这一层面上学生还不需要培养自己的抽象思维能力,因此,这里所说的应用是初步的直接应用,而不是全面的通过分析综合的运用知识。

4、分析,是指将概念分解为各个要素或者组成部分,使各个部分之间的相对层次更加清晰,使各个要素之间的相互关系更加明确,要进行分析,学生必须理解一个概念的细微之处,必须,能够在各个观点之间建立联系,寻找各个要素之间的相互影响。
5、综合,是指将各个要素或各个部分结合成一个整体,这需要对各个片段部分或要素进行思考,然后将他们组合或者融合,使其成为一个之前没有的整体,综合的关键在于,其中的抽象概念联系各部分和建立新整体,都是学生自己完成的,他强调特性与首创性,是高层次的要求。
6、评价,是认知领域里教育目标的最高层次,这个层次的要求不是凭借直观的感受或观察的现象做出评判,而是理性的深刻的对事物本质的价值做出有说服力的判断,他综合内在与外在的资料信息,做出符合客观事实的推断。
