Unit 3 Traurant Lesson 1 I want to eat noodles.

一、教材分析:

本单元的话题是Restaurant,本课又是第三单元第一课,情景为Tom一家就午饭吃什么东西展开了讨论,确定Tom和爸爸想吃中餐后,由于妈妈不会做,所以最后决定一起去餐馆吃。

二、学生分析

本课主要学习交流自己想要吃的食物,在三年级下册Food and drinks这一单元时,学生已经学过一些食物类单词,并会表述I like...I don’t like...所以本课单词对于学生来说并不陌生,课文内容比较简单,学生学习起来比较容易。

三、教学目标:

1、能够听懂、会说、认读、单词wanteatnoodledumplingout

2、能够听懂、认读、会说句型: What do you want to eat? I want to eat......3、能够流利、正确的用英语谈论自己想要吃的食物。

四、教学准备:

PPT课件、单词卡片、Tom一家人头像

五、教学过程:

Step 1.  Warming-up

1.Greetings.

T: Hello,boys and girls.It’s time for class. Shall we begin our class?

This class we will learn Unit 3 Restaurant.学习单词restaurant rant---restaurant

2.Free talk

    T : Today I had lunch at Taipingyang Restaurant. It’s very nice. There                 are many delicious food in the restaurant. Let’s have a look.

T: Wow, so many delicious food! What do you want to eat?学习单词wanteat.  You can answer like this: I want to eat…板书(强调want to连读)

S:I want to eat chicken.

T:Chicken is very yummy. But don’t eat too much.It makes us fat.

S:I want to eat fish.

T:Fish is good for us.It makes us clever.

S:I want to eat vegetables.

T:Do you like vegetables?

S: Yes, I do.

T: Good habit. We should eat vegetables every day.

S:I want to eat eggs.

T:I like eggs, too.Eggs cam make us healthy and strong.

S:I want to eat apples.

T:I like apples.An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

S: I want to eat rice.

T: I like rice,too. I often have rice for lunch.

S:I want to eat jiaozi.

T: Jiaozi is the traditional Chinese food.

设计意图:上课伊始,直接引出本单元的话题restaurant,由于我是下午第一节上课,所以直接借用这一情景,中午我在太平洋餐馆吃饭,直接由 restaurant过渡到食物图片,引出本课重点句型What do you want to eat?I want to eat…,初步感知本节课的重难点。学习答语,与学生展开自然的话轮交流。

Step 2  Presentation

1 Text:

TNow I know what you want to eat. What about our friend Tom? Look at this picture, what time is it? Yes, it’s eleven thirty. It’s time for lunch. And Tom is hungry, so he says: I’m hungry, mum.

(1)What does Tom want to eat? Let’s watch the video and find the answer .

Tom says: I want to eat jiaozi.

How does mum ask Tom? Let’s listen.

Yes , mum asks: What do you want to eat?

(2)How does mum ask dad? Can you guess? Let’s ask dad together.

Dad’s name is Jack. So mum asks: What do you want to eat, Jack?

Pay attention to Jack, we should read like this.升调

What does dad want to eat? Let’s listen.

Dad says : I want to eat noodles.noodles

(3)Tom wants to eat jiaozi, dad wants to eat noodles. But can mum cook jiaozi and noodles?

S: No, she can’t.

T: Why? Jiaozi and noodles are Chinese food. Are they Chinese people?

No. Where are they from? Do you remember? Maybe this picture can help you. They are from Canada. So mun can’t cook Chinese food. Mum says: Sorry, I can’t cook Chinese food. Shall we eat out? 学习单词out,pay attention to eat out连读,升调

(4)T: They will eat out. Where will they go? Can you guess? This restaurant or this restaurant?

Yes, they will go to this restaurantThe Chinese restaurant. And this is the western restaurant. In Chinese restaurant, they can eat jiaoziyuanxiaomooncakeszongzi and so onthey are all traditional Chinese food. In western restaurant, we can eat turkeysushispaghettihamburgerpizza and so on.

(5) Let’s go back to the stroy,It’s time for lunch,so mum asks Tom :What do you want to eat?Tom says:I want to eat jiaozi.mum asks dad :What do you want to eat?dad says:I want to eat noodles.But mun can’t cook jiaozi and noodles,so They will go to the restaurant.

设计意图:对于文本的处理,采用了总分总的结构,在进课文前,对第一幅图进行处理,简单说明一下文本的背景。然后由问题What does Tom want to eat?引领,让学生初步整体感知课文后再分幅图进行处理,每幅图采用不同的处理方式,第二三幅图都采用听答的方式,第四幅图在处理时回归到本课话题restaurant,让学生做选择他们去了哪家餐馆?中式餐馆还是西式餐馆?并对中西方食物进行拓展。最后采用思维导图的方式,将文本串联为一个整体。

Step 3  Practice

You can read the text very well. This time let’s play a game. First please ask and answer with your partner.

Now let’s play a game, sharp eyes. When the pictures go around, please clap and say, what do you want to eat? What do you want to eat? And when it stops, please put up your hands as quickly as you can? Are you ready? Go !

Step 4 Production

What do you want to eat? I want to eat . These two sentences are very useful in many conditions. For example, when we have dinner with our family at home, when we have lunch with our friends at school, when we eat buffet and when we eat out in the restaurant, we can ask and answer like this. Please work in groups, choose your favourite picture, make a dialogue then act it out.

设计意图:本环节选择的四幅图片代表了四种情景:家庭会餐,学校会餐、自助餐、餐馆吃饭,这几种情景下,都可以运用本课的重点句型What do you want to eat? I want to eat …进行谈论。目的是让学生明白本课所学重点句型可以在那些语境中进行运用。
