一个小男孩种下一颗小胡萝卜种子。每天他都为小种子浇水，拨去周围的杂草，等着它长大。尽管小男孩的家人不停的告诉他这种子不会长大，但他还是执着的做着他应该做的一切。终于有一天，小种子如他所愿长成了一个大胡萝卜，小孩子开心的运走他的胜利成果。

故事情节非常简单，无论是语言还是绘图，简单到无须过多解释。但就是这样一个简单的故事却讲述一个道理：做你该做的事，剩下的就是耐心等待，终有一天，你会等到你想看到的结果。

坚持和耐心等待，有多少人可以做到呢？也许看完这本书，我们都会再审视一下自己，把那些应该坚持却半途而废的事情继续下去吧！
