绘本课例TodayIWillFly

       以下是对课题《推进小学英语绘本教学的实践研究》展开的绘本教学课例 Today I  Will Fly
       该绘本是结合冀教版小学英语三年级起点六年级下册Lesson 16  Li Ming's Summer Holiday  所展开的绘本教学课例,所要教学的文本关注于will构成的一般将来时的教学,故选取与之相关的绘本Today I Will Fly ,该绘本也关注于will构成的一般将来时的用法。
       绘本原文如下:
       Today I will Fly
       Mo Willems
       P- Piggie G- Gerald
      P: Today I will fly!
      G: No.
      You will not fly today.
      You will not fly tomorrow.
      You will not fly next week.
      YOU WILL NEVER FLY!
      P: I will try.
      Goodbye.
      G: YOU WILL NOT FLY!
      She will not fly.
      P: Fly, fly, fly, fly, fly, fly, fly, fly, fly, fly!
      Fly, fly, fly, fly!
      G: You need help.
      P: Thank you. 
      I do need help!
      I will get help!
      DOG: WOOF! WOOF! WOOF! 
      WOOF! WOOF! WOOF!
      P: I did it!
      I flew!
     Thank you for your help!
     G: You did not fly.
     P: I did not fly?
     G: YOU JUMPED!
     P: I jumped?
     It was a big jump!
     G: Yes, it was a big jump. 
    But you did not fly.
    P: I will try again!
    G: I will eat lunch.

    Bird:You need help.

     基于文本Li Ming's Summer Holiday 和该绘本我们所进行设计的教学流程如下:
     Step 1. Greetings and lead-in                             

-Class begins!

Hello boys and girls. We will be together for only one month. You will be a middle-school student, not a pupil any more.After this month, you will have your summer holiday, how do you feel ?

Ok, now let’s sing the song together to welcome our summer holiday . Now please stand up and sing.

Wow, such a happy song! Just like our summer holiday.

Step 2.Text learning

1.  What will you do in your summer holiday ?

Will you take a trip?

Will you go water skiing ?

Will you make new friends ?

Will you go to Disneyland ?

Will you watch a movie ?

Will you have homework ?

2.  What will Li Ming do this summer holiday ?

3.Listen and read, and then try to find the answers. What will Li Ming do this summer holiday ?

4.Post-reading

Some extra questions.

Will Li Ming miss Canada ? ( How about the feelings about China ? )

Will Danny and Jenny miss Li Ming ? ( What will they do ? )

5.Retelling.

Come to the front to retell the story according to the clues.

6.Game

“What will you do for the summer holiday ?”

Step 3.Picture-book story

Today we will meet two new friends. Let’s see what will they do?

Read the text with some typical questions.
