動詞片語改為被動式

說明：動詞片語改為被動式時，其後之介詞要保留下來

例句：People listened to the important game.= The important game was be listened to (by people).

片語動詞的被動語態：

1. 如take care of、listen to、look at等片語動詞在主動式時，其後面的名詞可視為介系詞的受詞。

例如：Parents take care of their children.

例如：I listened to the music.

例如：Lily looked at the snake.

2. 但是在被動式時，我們將整個片語動詞視為一個包含介系詞的動詞，即介系詞不移位，主動式中的受詞就視為整個片語動詞的受詞，這是一種「重新分析」。

例如：Children are taken care of by their parents.

例如：The music was listened to by me. 

例如：The snake was looked at by Lily.

（7）表示客觀的說明，且說話者無特定對象時可用「It is ＋p.p. that 名詞子句」的句型（等於 People ……）。

例如：It is believed by many people that it is bad luck to enter the tomb.

＝＞people believe that it is bad luck to enter the tomb.

其他常見片語有：

It is said that….（據說）、It is reported…（據報導）、It is thought….（大家認為）

例如：It is said that Eric was invited to May’s party.

＝＞People say that Eric was invited to May’s party.

例如：It is reported that there will be an ancient Egyptian cultures exhibition in National Palace Museum during the Chinese New Year.
