查拉鲁普寺，又称鲁普岩寺，位于西藏拉萨市布达拉宫西南。它依山而建，为早期的支提式窟型(支提窟)，平面呈不规则长方行，面积大约为27平方米。

相传，它顶上的山崖是文成公主思念家乡时向东方朝拜的地方。洞窟开凿于松赞干布时代，据说藏王松赞干布的木雅妃如雍在查拉鲁普山崖上雕刻大梵天神像，用当时西藏很紧俏的盐作为工匠的报酬，掘崖粉一升，给盐一升。接着，又在石窟里开凿了转经廊道。经过一千多年的风风雨雨，中间几经兴衰，这座拉萨地区罕见的石窟寺庙至今仍然保存完好，是拉萨唯一的石窟寺。

从松赞干布茹雍王妃倡导开凿石窟寺，查拉鲁普石窟距今已有一千多年的历史。多少个世纪以来，藏族人就是这样，把自己的信仰和理想凿刻坚硬的岩石上，一锤一凿，化成佛菩萨的身影，化成有形无形的向往，用以寄托他们来生的幸福与安乐。

鲁普岩寺石窟内共有71尊从吐蕃时期算起到清朝时期开凿的佛教造像，除两尊是泥塑造像外，其余都是石刻造像，它们分布在中心柱和石窟的南、西、北壁上。中心柱四面共有14尊高大的高浮雕石刻造像，不过，我们今天看到的这些造像大多经过了后代的修补，并重新上色，因而，我们看不到早期造像的原作风貌。

鲁普岩寺院内有一间供奉酥油灯的房间，门前几个擦拭酥油灯的女人隐在阳光的阴影里，老于见没有制止的意思，好奇心起，就进到里面去。

酥油灯的房间里面热浪袭人，老于只拍照几张照片，就衣服湿透。老于满头大汗出来，那几个女人见状，不停的偷笑。

鲁普岩寺可供参观的地方不是很多，大约一两个多小时的时间，就参观完了。

当日下午3点多，外面的太阳正毒，门口处却凉风习习。

自己征得卖票藏族小伙子的同意，坐下休息。

来鲁普岩寺多是当地的藏人，不收门票。而当天参观鲁普岩寺的游客就我一人。

那小伙子20岁左右的年纪，十分好客，问老于是否习惯喝酥油茶，见点头，给倒了一杯酥油茶，和老于攀谈起来。

聊天中知道小伙子来自林芝，家有双亲，有姐妹各一。

去年他已经在这样干了一年，今年年底就可以回家了。

说完，便有些沉默。

那脸上分明写满了对亲人的思念和对家乡的思乡之情。

老于告诉他，2006年6月的时候，老于第一次来西藏，从林芝那里经过，他的家乡是个山清水秀的好地方。

不知不觉聊了近一小时，好客的他，往老于的杯中接连斟了4-5杯的酥油茶，后来真的喝不下了。

临走时，小伙子说，晚上拍布宫的话，只说是我的朋友，他们就不会再收你的票了。

老于谢过，却一直没有时间再去。
