It's big and light教学设计

教学目标:

    知识技能目标:

(1)能听,说,读,写词汇light, broken, heavy,pocket,hard等

(2)能听懂会说,会读,会认句子It's big and light.It'll be easy for you.

(3)能通过阅读短文获得信息

能力目标:

(1)能够正确掌握并描述事物特征的一些形容词。

(2)能够阅读短文获得信息,解决教师提出的问题。

情感态度目标:

(1)能够分小组进行讨论,在合作学习的过程中积极发挥所长,共同完成学习任务。

(2)能够运用所学的语言在教师提供的情境中解决实际问题,提高语言的运用能力。

(3)通过游戏等任务活动激发学生学习英语的兴趣,培养其综合运用语言的能力。

教学重、难点:

    句型It’s big and light.It’s got two pockets.的学习和掌握。

教学过程:

StepⅠ:Warming up

1.    Greetings.

      T: Hello! Boys and girls.

Ss: Hello! Ms Yue!

T: How are you?

Ss: I'm fine, thank you. And you?

T: Me too. Are you ready for our English class?

Ss: Yes!

T: OK! Come on!

2.Let's chant.

Tall tall tall  I am tall.     Short short short  I am short.

Fat fat fat   I am fat.        Thin thin thin  I am thin.

Big big big  It's big.         Small small small  It's small.

3.Sing a song .

Apple round,apple red .    apple juicy,apple sweeet.

Apple ,apple ,I love you .   apple, apple, I like to eat you.

StepⅡ:Presentation&Practice

1.复习有关颜色名称的词语。

(1)Show an apple ,This apple is red,That apple is green.接着出示不同颜色,不同形状的卡片。让个别学生说出颜色名称,其他身穿该颜色衣服的同学迅速反应,站起来并大声朗读。

  (2)对这些不同颜色,不同形状的卡片进行描述。如: a green leaf, a yellow banana,an orange orange….

2.    Show a bag.

T:Whose bag is this?

S1:It's ×××'s bag.

T:What colour is this bag?

S2:It's blue.

T:This bag is new.It's small.It's light.

教师在四线三格内书写,并要求学生在本子上书写一遍,接着让学生用这个词说一句话。

S3: ×××'s bag is light.

S4: It's light.

S5: This small bag is light.

S6: This blue one is light.

T:教师指着书包一侧的口袋说This is a pocket.接着说The bag has got two pockets.

Ss:It has got two pockets.

教师在这指导这句话的缩写形式是It's got two pockets.

教师背起这个书包并做出很轻松的样子。It'll be easy for me.

3.    Show the other bag.

 T:This is my bag.It's old.It's broken.It's big.

教师拿着几本厚厚的书,再放入书包里,并做出提起它很重的样子。It's heavy.It'll be hard for me.

4.Drill

(1)看教师口型,读或拼读这些词。

(2)Guesssing game.在黑板上画一棵树,并介绍这是一棵花果树,各色果子都有。继续出示先前用过的不同颜色不同形状的卡片,在其背面有本课的重点词汇。猜词时,这名学生与老师背靠背,教师出示卡片,直到该生猜对以后,由该生贴在花果树上,并领读这个词语一遍。

StepⅢ:Learn the dialogue

Lingling's bag is broken.Mrs Smart wants to buy a new one for Lingling.

1.Listen and point.

    2.Look at the pictures,read the text loudly,and underline the language points. 3.出示课文中的这几句话,并做指导。

It has  ← It's got two pockets.

It is ←  It's big and light.

It will ←  It'll be easy for you.

We will ←  We'll take it,please.

4.Listen and repeat,then answer these questions.

(1)What does Lingling need?

(2)where are Lingling and Mrs Smart?

(3)Which bag do they buy?

Then, check the answers.

5.Read by yourselves freely and loudly.

6.4人一小组,分角色朗读。

StepⅣ:Exercises

1.练习册18页1题。Read and tick the correct answers.

2Close your books,listen and fill in the blanks.

Ms Smart:Lingling,look at your bag.It's       .I'll buy you a new one.

Lingling:Ok,This black bag is        .It's big.

Ms Smart:But It's         .This green one is        .and It's got two         .

 Lingling:But It's         .

Ms Smart:Look at this blue one,It's big and light.And It's got four        .It'll be         for you.We'll          it.

StepⅤ:Homework

1.把课文读几遍,读熟。

2.运用本课所学内容,试着描述自己的书包。

板书:

   Module 5 Unit1   It's big and light.

  This black bag is nice. It's big.

  This blue one is big and light. It'll be easy for her.
