一、Teaching aims:

1.能够听懂、会说句型What’s your favourite season? Spring. Why do you like spring? Because I can plant trees / ….

2.能够听懂Let’s try部分的录音,完成听音选择正确图画的任务。

3.能够根据Task time中的提示语编写Season Poster。

二、Teaching content:

句型:What’s your favourite season? Spring. Why do you like spring? Because I can plant trees / ….

三、Important and different point:

本课时的重点和难点都是掌握询问对方喜欢某个季节的原因及其应答的句型Why do you like …? Because I can ….

四、Teaching aids:

单词卡片、课件。

五、Teaching procedure.

Step1.Warm-up

1.Say a chant.

Spring is green with flowers and songs.

Summer is hot and the days are long.

Fall is golden and farmers are busy.

Winter is white and the year is gone.

2.Have a question and answer drill with students.

T: What’s your favourite season? / which season do you like best?

S1: Summer.

S2: …

3.Ask students to spell these word: spring、summer、fall、winter、season, then choose one word to make a sentence.

Step2.Presentation

1. Ask and answer.

Teacher : What do we usually do in spring/summer/fall/winter?

S: we usually …in spring/summer/fall/winter.

2. Play the game “high voice and low voice” to review the phrases.

3. Do exercises of Let’s try.

(1)Look at the pictures and listen to the recording ,choose the right pictures.

(2)Listen to the recording once again, then check the answer.

(3)Read the talk fellow the recording.

4. Let’s talk.

(1)Ask students to listen to recording and think these two questions:

What’s Sarah’s favourite season? Why?

What’s Chen Jie’s favourite season? Why?

(2)Answer the questions.

(3)Read the talk fellow the recording.

(4)Two people a group practice the dialogue.

(5)Show us the dialogue in front of the class.

Step3. Consolidation and extension.

1. Interview your partner ,find out your partner’s favourite season and his or her favourite activity.

2. Ask students to show their talk.

3. Fill in the blank.

My favourite season is_________. It’s__________.I wear my____________. I can ______________________.

  4. Rearrange the words.

(1)favourite / what’s/ your / season / ?

(2) like / Which / you/ do / season / best / ?

(3)do / Why / you / spring / like / ?

Step4. Homework.

1. Talk about season with your partner.

2. Make a season book.
