1.   话题一开始就不知道该说什么怎么办

在Part 1或者Part 3时，对考官的提问或对某个话题进行评价、以便衔接自己的答案时，很多中国烤鸭一时想不出来答案，很容易卡在哪里。如何做到自然的衔接问题和答案，同时又给自己争取几秒钟的思考时间呢？

用上这些句型就可以：

- Maybe I can answer your question by telling you about a personal experience I had...

- That’s an interesting question…let me see. Well, I suppose that…

- That’s a big issue. Maybe I can explain it this way…

- Interesting topic, well actually...

- I might really have something interesting to answer this question. I mean...

- That's a serious question, let me see. I think that...

这些套句和缓冲词请各位烤鸭灵活使用，不要生搬硬套哦！否则很容易在考场上闹笑话！

实在还是想不出来该说什么的时候还有一个不太建议的方法，就是装作没有听懂或听清考官的问题。你可以说：

- I’m sorry, I’m not sure I understand. Do you mean …？

- Sorry I didn’t quite catch you. You mean…?

- I’m not exactly sure how to answer that question, but perhaps …

- Sorry I didn’t catch you. Could you please repeat the question?

- I’m sorry but could you say that again?

当然使用要注意适度，如果你很多问题都跟考官来这么一出，那分数肯定也不会太高了。

2.   作答过程中突然脑子一片空白？

很多烤鸭经常因为一边思考一遍答，但思考跟不上说话的速度而导致出现尴尬的空白。那么如何弥补这些尴尬的空白，给自己争取思考的时间同时又把卡壳化为流利呢？

你可以用以下这些句型：

- Well...

- Actually…

- In fact…

- …you see, ….

- You know…

- How shall I put this …

- Give me a few second… I think that…

-  I mean...

- how shall I explain this...

3.   发现自己刚刚说错了，或者有歧义怎么办

当你发现自己表达的内容不够完善，或者直接说错了、有歧义的话，再在此基础上加一些解释是最好的方法了？一时想不出来该怎么解释？

那你就必须用上这些句型啦：

- In other words, I mean…

- And that means…

- Let me put it another way…

- What I’m saying/suggesting is…

- All I’m trying to say is…

- What I’m getting at is…

- If I can rephrase that…

- Perhaps I should make that clearer by saying…

- Perhaps it would be more accurate to say…

- Actually, what I was saying is that ...

- Maybe I wasn't being clear. Let's put it this way...

- Don't get me wrong, I mean...
