一.教学目标:
1. 知识目标:
(1)词汇: lady, gentleman, for sale, satisfy, guest, menu, wine, bill。
(2)句型:掌握英语就餐的重点句型。

2. 能力目标:
着重利用小组合作学习,训练学生口语应用能力,将所学的知识运用到实际的就餐交际情景中去,学会利用所学组织就餐语言交际知识。
3. 情感目标:
培养学生学习英语的浓厚兴趣,乐于参加各种英语实践活动,培养其合作能力,帮助学生了解西方饮食文化,树立学习英语的信心。

1. Sing the song : Pat a cake in Section C Topic2.
2. Free talk: Get two students to talk something about Daniel Igali.
3. Show the food and drinks for the students to look and say.
T: First foreign food(quick response).

T: There are so many kinds of foods and drinks. What would you like to have? Let the students to ask and answer in chains.

1) Show the menu that each group has made before class.
Divide the whole class into groups Ask one student from each group to act as a waiter /waitress. He/She serves the other groups with their own menu and write down the results.

(2)Write a dialog that happens in a restaurant. (At least 10 sentences)
(3)Review Section A and preview Section B.

教学反思:
在教学中,能充分利用小组合作,分工明确地参与英语学习,给任务,完成任务,评价任务,教师能真正灵活处理使用教材,而不是“教教材”,是语言学习活动的指导者。课堂语言活动过程各个步骤衔接紧凑,学生积极参与,有机地“动”起来。唯一遗憾的是,学生预习活动的小组合作没有配合好,使课堂的导入和课内活动中有点分化明显感觉。如何减少和尽力避免差距的产生,是在教学中时刻要注意的问题哦。

尤溪七中八年级英语备课组
在每一周的集体备课活动后的第二天,即2012年5月8日上午第二节,八年级英语备课组教师苏元键上了本节英语课。备课组老师观摩了教学全过程,现就教学整体情况评议如下----
陈美英:在教学过程中,王老师能注意知识的前后衔接,有机地引导学生联系前面所学,使知识系统。因为,今天的Topic 3 Welcome to our food festival!就是围绕topic 1&topic 2所学的康康和朋友们想为Daniel Idali筹钱,而打算举办国际美食节。本课就是美食节的开幕仪式的主持人致辞和就餐对话。苏老师能抓住教学目标重点,有的放矢导入,引领学生参与语言活动,环节紧凑,是较成功的一节课。
王玉冰:在教学2a部分,老师能有意指导学生自己感知语言目标,在熟读对话内容的前提下,在角色感觉中模拟对话,较好!但在表演的过程,应及时给予评价和激励,让学生在参与语言活中感受成就,得到认可!
陈文珠:苏老师的英语业务水平高,驾驭课堂技术娴熟,在教学过程有轻车熟路的感觉。唯一缺憾的就是学生的课前预习工作没有做好,在活动中,两极分化想象明显。如何面向各类不同程度的学生,让他们“多能学英语”这个问题一直是我们在教学中最头痛的。所以,指导不同程度学生的预习,如何自主学一直是英语老师要时时注意的哦!
