Step One: Warmer

1.     Greeting

T: Hello, boys and girls.

Ss: Hello, teacher.

T: Are you ready for our English class?

Ss: Yes.

T: Very good. You’re ready. I’m ready too. Now, listen to me.

Ss: Listen to you.

T: Class begins.

Ss: Stand up.

T: Good morning, boys and girls.

Ss: Good moring teacher.

T: How are you today?

Ss: I’m fine. Thank you. And you?

T: I’m very happy. Because today we will learn English together. Sitdown please!

2. Play a game. Simon Says

T: Boys and girls, do you like games?

Ss: Yes.

T: OK. Now, let’s play a game Simon Says. When I say Simon Says, you say and do the action. When I don’t say Simon Says, you say, but don’t do the action. Do you understand?

Ss: Yes.

T: OK. Now, look at me.
