正月·雪梅帖

开元三千曲

雪是春头

昨日迟来几分

惊起卷帘人

险成诗韵

 

吾也将梅妆新试

先画山高水远

亦作锦字春秋

 

First Moon • Wintersweet

 

The year starts with three thousand tunes

snow heralds the spring

Yesterday was late a bit

taking the screen-roller aback

which almost makes a verse

I try to put on a wintersweet dress

drawing mountains high and rivers afar

and painting a brocade of the year

 

二月·兰花帖

踏雪归来

空谷不见

秦镜堪与谁寄

天教吾一身风骨

Second Moon • Orchid

 

It comes back treading snow

void vales disappear.

Who can it send the Qin mirror to

It’s taught by God to stand true

 

三月·桃花帖

你来之前

农历的神

已将婚床铺好

Third Moon• Peach Blossom

 

Before you arrive

the Goddess of Lunar Calendar

has made bed for the bride

 

四月·牡丹花帖

谁敲我西窗

一枝细看

芳意千重

原来是月吉祥你吉祥

Fourth Moon • Peony

 

Who’s knocking on my west window

Look closely at a peony spray

A scent of fragrance thousandfold

The blessing moon brings about a blessed you

 

五月·石榴花帖

汉宫风灯零乱

再红也是空

我想用半亩小田

绽放你的整个春天

Fifth Moon • Pomegranate

 

The wind blows a Han Palace lantern to sway

No matter how aglow, it’s hollow

I’d rather set your spring in full bloom

with half a patch of land

 

六月·荷花帖

你在

便是我离你最近的一条路

不在

就住在我心里了

Sixth Moon • Lotus

 

When you are

You are the shortest way from me to you

when you are not

you live in my heart

 

 

七月·秋葵花帖

请给我一滴水

在你路过的门口

唤醒我

我是你重逢的故乡

Seventh Moon • Okra

 

Please give me a drop of water

In the doorway you pass by

wake me up

I am your hometown to come back to

 

八月·桂花帖

带上万物凝华的月色和你

消隐江湖

在通往香气馥郁的重阳

去看母亲

Eighth Moon • Osmanthus

 

With the moonlight made of all essences and you

it retreats from the world

On Double Ninth Day leading to rich fragrance

it sees its mother

 

 九月· 菊花帖

秋意初开

黄花遍地

市桥不解风情

南山知音世少

Ninth moon • Chrysanthemum

 

Autumn befalls

chrysanthemums bloom

No romance in Vanity Fair

and few friends in the southern hills

                    十月· 芙蓉花帖

晓阴向晚

琼枝空明

约重来

是易安一笑叠韵

Tenth Moon • Hibiscus Flower

 

From dawn to dusk

an emerald spray of light

another date

with the poetess’ smile of rhyme

 

十一月·三茶花帖

请回到草木之间

安于尘世

  你不动声色的生与死

 皆为佛陀之意

Eleventh Moon • Camellia

 

Back to grass and plants, please

Settled in the dusty world

Your life and death in calm composure

is the will of Buddha

 

十二月·水仙花帖

不图清名

不问尘事

无意做岁寒小友

一世为清绝洛神

Twelfth Moon • Daffodil

 

Not for gain or fame

with no care for the world

not intending to make friends with winter

but willing to be Goddess of the Lo for life
