RING OUT, WILD BELLS

Ring out, wild bells, to the wild sky,
敲啊，狂野的洪鐘，劃破狂野長空，
Ring out, wild bells, and let him die.
敲吧，狂野的洪鐘，讓它善終吧。
Ring out the old, ring in the new,
辭舊的鐘聲，迎新的鐘聲，
Ring out the false, ring in the true.
驅離荒誕，迎來真與善。
Ring out the grief that saps the mind
驅走心靈悲痛欲絕離愁
Ring in redress to all mankind.
將
Ring out a slowly dying cause,
驅走那奄奄一息禍源，
With
sweeter manners, purer laws.
禮儀雍雅，律法更純正。
Ring out
the want, the care, the sin,
驅離犯人，罪惡，糾葛，
But ring
the fuller minstrel in.
但卻迎來情緒飽滿的詩哲。
Ring out
false pride in place and blood,
驅除那地緣血統狂妄，
Ring in the common love
of good.
呼喚大同世界良善之愛。
Ring out
old shapes of foul disease;
驅除污穢疫疾古老形態；
Ring in
the thousand years of peace.
迎來世 世代代和平的鐘聲。
Ring in
the valiant man and free,
召喚那勇敢和自由的人類，
Ring in
the Christ that is to be.
鐘聲傳遞人間正道是滄桑。
