One of Three Stanzas of “Song of Serene Melody”

其一：Stanza One

雲想衣裳花想容，      

春風拂檻露華濃。      

若非群玉山頭見，      

會向瑤台月下逢。      

As the clouds yearn for her gown,

So is the flowers for her face,

That spring wind hath the railing blown         

Giveth her more intense dewy grace.

If thou behold her not upon

The head of the Jasper Mountains*,

That might encounter her on

The moonlight Terrace of Heavens.

美麗的霓裳，花卉也想擁有她華貴的容顏，天子猶春風，吹拂欄杆，花灑露水風韻更濃。如此天

姿國色，超凡脫俗，唯有在王母娘娘仙居的"群玉山"頭上方能見，要不就是在月下瑤台可能相逢。
