They fuck you up, your mum and dad.                  你阿嗲拉娘，蹦你出世。

   They may not mean it, but they do.                  生米煮熟飯，或非故意。

They fill you with the faults they had                  但將種種陋習充斥於你，

And add some extra, just for you.                       再畫龍點睛，造就了你。

But they were fucked up in their turn.               可他們也被如法炮製。

　 By fools in old-style hats and coats                 那些裝束老土的白痴，

Who half the time were soppy-stern                   不是板臉像煞有介事，

   And half at one another’s throats.                   就是互相之間掐脖子。

Man hands on misery to man.                              世代苦逼輪迴人傳人。

   It deepens like a coastal shelf.                         似那海岸線層層加深。

Get out as early as you can,                                竭盡所能儘早豁出身，

   And don’t have any kids yourself.                   囡囡寶貝自己也別生。

【譯註】

此詩乃拉金名詩，雖寫得粗魯怪誕，卻也應驗了一句老話，有其父必有其子。基因決定一切，

但種種陋習令詩人深痛惡絕，不惜寫詩諷刺，且還決定豁出去，連小孩不生也罷，豈不因噎廢食？

非也！只怪現代社會比較急功近利，或許都是家庭基因惹得禍，先天不足，後天失調，又缺乏家教，

動揶破口大罵，借用一句滬語，大家笑一笑，尤其譯文還是“辣痢頭兒子自己好”。

到底譯得好不好？外行看熱鬧，內行看門道。哈哈，大家懂的！哦，若有雷同，那純屬巧合。
