Poet of Nature, thou hast wept to know                           大自然的詩人啊，你噙淚感傷，

致敬，還是悼亡？雪萊（1792-1822）最後兩句寫得很不客氣，向華茲華斯抱怨說，作為一個

大自然的詩人理應從田園自然社會中而不是從人類社會中汲取靈感和精神養料，不應通過接受

政府的工作來出賣自己的自由和尊嚴。
