PERFECT WOMAN                                        完 美 伊 人

She was a phantom of delight                                                      她是一個歡樂的精靈，

When first she gleam'd upon my sight;                                        初見時灼灼光艷一現；

A lovely apparition, sent                                                              如此可愛，一個幻影，

To be a moment's ornament;                                                       是來點綴那美妙瞬間；

Her eyes as stars of twilight fair;                                                 雙眸熠耀似那黃昏美麗星辰；

Like twilight's, too, her dusky hair;                                              雲髻峨峨，也似暮色般深沉；

But all things else about her drawn                                              渾身上下卻無不透著 

From May-time and the cheerful dawn;                                       五月的春光和黎明的歡樂； 

A dancing shape, an image gay,                                                    舞動的倩影，翩然娉婷，

A perfect Woman, nobly plann'd,                                                   一個完美女性，天然高貴，

美人的定義，古往今來，各有不同，但愛美之心，卻人人皆有。顛倒眾生的美人，歷來是詩人的

靈感，騷人的飼料，莎士比亞的美人在《維羅納二紳士》中的《西爾維亞之歌》中，可見一斑；

而英國另一位大詩人華茲華斯的眼中卻有另一番景緻。哈哈，請問路過的看官，哪位更符合現代

人的標準？
