PEP小学英语五年级上册第四单元教案  

单元备课和教材分析:                                 

本单元教学重点是有关家务劳动的表述方法,主要句型是:What can you do?  I can sweep the floor. Can you set the table? Yes, I can. No, I can’t. 难点是AB部分的Let’s talk和要求四会掌握的动词词组。本单元的大部分动词词组在四年级上、下册中都已经出现过,如:water the flowers, sweep the floor, set the table, make the bed等。因此,在教学中应注意以旧引新,相应的降低教学难度,也能带领学生温故知新。本单元教学内容与学生日常生活联系密切,教学中要注意结合实际,指导学生每天做适量的家务劳动,并尽量用英文表达。本单元最大的特点就是Let’s learn. 部分出现的全是词组,这也是本单元与其它单元最大的不同之处,较之词汇教学,词组教学内容更多、难度更大,因此建议分散教学,同时及时进行巩固操练。

单元教学目标

1、 知识目标:

听、说、认读AB部分Let’s learn, Let’s talk 中的词组和句子。

听、说、读、写Let’s learn中的黑体词组及Read and write 中加粗的     句子。

理解Let’s chant部分的内容。

了解Story time, Good to know中的内容。

了解字母组合or, all, pl, pr在单词中的发音规律。

2 能力目标:

能够说出一些有关家务活的词组。如:cook the meals

会介绍自己能做的事情。如:I can sweep the floor.

会使用询问别人的能力的基本句型。如Can you… ? Are you helpful? What can you do?

会唱歌曲《 I Can Help

3、情感、文化目标:

培养学生热爱劳动的观念,增强学生生活自理能力。

培养学生体贴父母、互助互爱的情感。

增强安全、环保意识,争做环保小卫士

单元重点、难点:

1 重点:能运用句型谈论自己力所能及的事情,询问彼此的能力,并以此增进相互交流;掌握词组

正确书写和字母组合的发音规律。

2 难点:句型“What can you do?Can you…的运用。

课时安排:

第一课时:A: Let’s learn. Let’s play. C: Pronunciation.

第二课时:A: Let’s try. Let’s talk. Group work

第三课时:A: Read and write. Let’s play.

第四课时:B: Let’s learn. Let’s chant. C: Let’s sing.

第五课时:B: Let’s try. Let’s talk. Let’s play. Task time.

第六课时:B: Read and write. C Story time

第一课时

教学内容: 

教学目标:

a. 能听、说、认读动词词组empty the trash和句子“I’m helpful! I can sweep the floor.”

 b. 能够听说读写动词词组cook the meals, water the flowers, sweep the floor, clean the bedroom       

c. 理解字母组合or,all,pl,pr的发音规则,试着朗读pronunciation部分的例词。

d. 对学生进行讲究卫生、热爱劳动的思想教育。

教学重点:学习有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。

教学难点:正确书写四个动词词组以及运用句型“I can…”进行表述。

教学准备:1.教师准备本课时的单词卡、录音机及磁带。

2.教师准备本课时所需的一些实物道具。

 Step1: Preparation

. Let’s sing: Colour Song.

2. Let’s do. 老师播放四年级上册的U1中的Let’s do 的录音,学生听音,有节奏的吟唱,并作动作。内容如下:Open the door.   Turn on the light.   Sweep the floor.   Clean the bedroom.   Put up the picture.   Clean the board.

 Step2: Presentation

1. 单词导呈。

a. 教师从let’s do中引出词组sweep the floor, clean the bedroom,并出示词卡,要求学生拼读。

b. 教师拿起教室的洒水壶开始浇书橱上的花,同时对学生说:I can water the flowers.并请一位同学上台边浇花边说I can water the flower.台下的同学也一起边说边做动作。教师板书后指导学生拼读。

c. T: What time is it now? It’s ten, it’s time for lunch, Let’s cook the meals.同时出示单词卡片,学生边说边做动作并拼读词组。

d. 教师拿起门后的垃圾桶边做倒垃圾的动作边说“I’m helpful, I can empty the trash.学生学说句子并做动作。

e. Let’s chant. 老师在教授完新单词后,改编一个chant, 让学生拍手吟唱。

Sweep, sweep, sweep the floor.

Cook, cook, cook the meals.

Water, water, water the flower.

Clean, clean, clean the bedroom.

Empty, empty, empty the trash.

I’m, I’m, I’m helpful.

2. 听读正音。老师播放Let’s learn 部分录音,学生看课本跟读,同时手指单词。

3. 合作学习。学生同桌之间互相检查单词和句子的认读,互相帮助。

 Step3: Practice

1.看口型猜词组  

导入:Look at my mouth and guess which word. 师示范一组马上交由学生操作。  

2Let’s play (猜一猜)

a. 教师准备好英文卡片,每组的第一个同学上前来任选一张。

  b. 抽卡片的同学只能做出一个动作,如扫地,请本组的同学猜一猜并说出英文sweep the floor,这时前面的同学就可以说:Right! I can…哪组用的时间最快、说的最准确,就可加一分。教师可对优胜组进行奖励。

3. Pronunciation.老师先给出含有这些相同字母组合的例词,让学生自己读出,并总结他们在这些单词中发音的规律,同时还要特别注意示范两个字母组合发音的区别。

教学内容:A Let’s tryLet’s talk  let’s chant  Group work                             

教学目标:a.能听懂、会说:Are you helpful at homeWhat can you do?

I can….You’re helpful! 并能在情景中熟练运用。

b.能听懂、说唱歌谣“Dog, dog, what can you do?”

教学重点:句型“What can you do? I can…”

教学难点:句子“Are you helpful at home以及在实际情景中正确运用所学对话。

教学准备:1.教师准备本课时所需的人物图片和上一节课的单词卡。

2. 老师准备录音机和磁带。

3.学生准备朋友或家人的照片。

a.在复习了What can you do at school?的基础上,利用课件引出at home主题再调查学生What can you do at home?引导学生回答。

b.板书带读  

c.教师示范后同位两人调查。

2. Are you helpful at home? Sure.

Let’s try,引句型。

You are helpful! Is Mike helpful too?

Listen and tick.

T: Let’s check. What can Mike do?

Ss: Mike can …….

过渡导入:T: Mike is helpful at home. Are you helpful at home?

Ss: Yes. / Sure.

T: Read after Me. “Are you helpful at home?”(带读板书并操练。)

S1: Are you helpful at home?

T: Sure. (带读板书并操练。)

小组操练(开火车)。问全班: Are you helpful at home ?

T: What can you do?

S: I can sweep the floor.

T: Great! You’re helpful!

3. Great! You’re helpful!

T: What can you do?

S3: I can empty the trash.

T: Is he helpful?

引导学生学会表扬。Great! You’re helpful!

课后延伸

 Step3: Practice

1. Listen and answer.  T:  Is Chen Jie helpful at home too?

S5: She can sweep the floor.

She can cook the meals. 

2.听录音 Let’s talk,学生逐句跟读。  

3. Practice in groups. 小组中两人分角色操练对话  

4.学生展示:分角色朗读;表演对话。

          b. 能听懂对话,帮助学生理解句子:We can help her. Just do it.并能在情景中熟练运用。

教学重点:掌握四会句子:What can you do? I can….

教学难点:学生对四会句子的规范书写。

教学准备:1.教师准备本课时所需的人物图片和单词卡。

2. 老师和学生共同准备学校里的一些老师的照片或图片。

3. 学生准备本课时所学的单词卡片和人物卡片。

教学过程:                                                                   Step 1: Preparation  

1.拍手游戏。  

I can ….(让学生跟说跟做,初步渗透I can…..)  

2. What can you do (with your hands/eyes/mouth/body/pencil)? Do the actions.  

  让学生活动的同时插入Can you do it? Just do it! ,提前进行语言铺垫。Step2.Pre-reading  

 

1.直入课题:  

T: Today we’ll learn “What can you do?”  板书课题,领读。  

2.通过a bottle of water 引入家务劳动短语。  

  T: Look! What’s in the bottle?  

What can you do with the water?  

板书 I can water the flowers/trees/…..  

T: The flowers are thirsty. Let’s water the flowers. 请一名学生台前浇花。并教授you’re helpful!通过创设真实情景,自己动手劳动体验helpful!  

3、展示Jenny能做的家务劳动

T: Oh, she can do a lot of things.对比 a clean rooma dirty room, 引入sweep the floor的教学。  

4.出示dirty room  

T: Whose room is it? Mother Goat躺在床上  

  T: Mother Goat is ill. The room is dirty, what can you do?  

 Ss: I can sweep the floor.\ I can water the flowers….  

the dirty room引入Mother Goat is ill\并在学生回答问题时 教授just do it.  

 Step3. In-reading  

1. 展示Mother Goat 的房间。  

T: Mother Goat is ill. Can you help Miss Goat?  

  T: Zip has three good friends. But he has a question: Who is his good friends?  学生自读课文。  

2. 带问题读课文。  

T: Can you find the questionWhat does Zip ask them?

b.能听、说、认读词组“put away the clothes” and sentence “ can you do housework? Yes, I can.”

c.能够说唱let’s chant, 巩固所学词组。

教学重点:掌握有关家务劳动的五个动词词组。

教学难点:掌握四个四会动词词组,pay attention the pronunciation and spelling about the word “ clothes”.

教学准备:1、教师准备录音机,磁带和相应的图片,词卡,头饰。

2、教师准备一个转盘。多媒体课件。

Step2: Presentation

1. 单词导入。

a. chant结束时问,boys and girls, what can you do?

S1: I can …..

T: Can you wash the clothes? Yes or no?

领读:clothes, wash the clothes. I can wash the clothes.

Look at the picture, this is a little boy, let’s ask him together, “ can you wash the clothes?” 多媒体呈现课件读音:Yes, I can. I can wash the clothes. 教师同时领读。

T: Boys and girls, can you wash the clothes? Ss: Yes, I can . I can wash the clothes.  Talk in pairs.

b. Look at the picture, what can he do? Who can ask him? “what can you do?”   “ do the dishes, I can do the dishes.”出示卡片、板书并领读。

c. T: I do, you say. Do the action, ( set the table)

T: Can you set the table? Ask the students.

Yes, I can , I can set the table. Set the table( 边说边做动作)ask your best friend, can you set the table?  Ask me please! Ss: can you set the table, Miss Zhao.

d. I only tell one student, “Yes, I can. I can do the dishes, too.” (耳语) tell the sentences to you friend.

e. I can do many housework, I can wash the clothes, I can set the table, I can do the dishes, I can make the bed, too. Who can make the bed? S1: …… s2…..s3….. I can make the bed.

Now, let’s play a game, ok? Listen and do?

I say, you do, for example. Wash the clothes.

T: wash the clothes,  wash the clothes and do the dishes, wash the clothes, do the dishes and set the table,  wash the clothes, do the dishes, set the table and make the bed, wash the clothes, do the dishes, set the table, make the bed, and put away the clothes,(教师做动作)

Put away the clothes.

All of these are housework, can you do housework?

Yes, I can , I can wash the clothes….. T: Great! You’re helpful.

2. 听读正音。老师播放Let’s learn 部分录音,学生看课本跟读,同时手指词组及句子。

Step3: Practice

1. I can do some housework too, can you guess, what can I do?

(出示转盘)将学生分成四组,you can …..

然后教师转动转盘,与转盘结果一致的组加分。

2.看表演,猜单词。让一位同学先看一下单词,然后表演,其他学生猜出单词。

3.记忆超人。老师给出几分钟时间,让学生快速记忆四会词组,进行拼读比赛。

5. Let’s chant. 老师播放P7 Let’s chant 录音,学生先听。在跟读。可分组拍手对答吟唱。

Step4: Production

 教师提出要求,请用上Can you…? 的句型采访本组的同学,并将结果记录在表格上。

注意:1.采访过程中一定不能说出中文。2.将采访结果进行归纳,带领大家一起完成表。3.每组请一名同学进行汇报,统计一下哪件家务劳动会做的人最多?

Homework:听录音,读Let’s learn 内容。

 

 

 

                                第五课时

                              

教学目标:

a. 能听懂、会说:“Can you ……?Yes , I can \No, I can’t .

But I’d like to have a try.” 并能在实际情景中熟练运用。

 b. 对学生进行热爱劳动的思想教育。

教学重点:学会用句型“Can you ……?Yes ,I can \No, I can’t .”在情景中进行问答。

教学难点:对话中句子“But I’d like to have a try.”的含义理解及其运用。

教学准备: 1.教师准备本课时所需的人物图片。

           2.教师和学生同时准备学校里一些教师的照片或图片。

                3. 教师准备录音机和磁带。

教学过程:                                                                   Step1: Preparation

1. Let’s chant. 教师播放前一课Let’s chant部分的歌谣,学生边说边做相应的动作。

2.教师将本单元所学的词组贴在黑板上,两人一组,请学生自编歌谣,有节奏的说唱。

1. Let’s try

a. 先请同学们听一遍录音,并完成连线。

b. 再听一遍,请两名同学上来完成连线。

c. 师生互问,教师指着Sarah/Wu Yifan 的图像问What can she/he do ? Can she/he sweep the floor? S1:… T: Can you sweep the floor? 引导学生用“Yes ,I can \No, I can’t . ”来回答。

2. 教师板书“Can you ……?Yes ,I can \No, I can’t .” 并让学生以开火车的形式训练整句话。

3.学生重点句型掌握后,教师转向提问多位学生,让学生在小组内回答交流。

课后延伸

1.听音答题。

2.听音正音

(1)教师再放录音,在每句话后停顿,让学生跟读,教师要注意及时纠正学生在跟读过程中出现的语音、语调方面的错误。

(2)跟读完一遍后,教师再放一遍录音,让学生根据刚才老师提出的问题和自己在跟读过程中出现的错误,重新从整体上把握一下

教学准备:1.本单元的单词卡片和人物图片。

         2. 带有个性特征的名人图片。

         3.本课时的教学挂图。

         4. 录音机和磁带。

教师呈现本课时教材图片,向学生提出问题说:“Can Robot use a computer?”

让学生带着问题快速读对话,然后请学生解答问题。

让学生带着问题快速读对话,然后请学生解答问题。

2. Detailed reading.  让学生仔细阅读课文,然后回答问题

T: What can Robot do?

学生可先自己阅读,然后小组讨论答案。

3. Read and write.

Read again, fill in the blanks.  学生在课本上写出答案。核对答案。教师范写四个句子。学生在练习本上仿写句子。

4. Listen to the tape 听音跟读对话

提醒学生注意单词的发音,模仿语音语调。

5. 要求学生大声朗读培养朗读能力、增强语感。朗读练习采用先自主练习,然后小组合作,最后个别展示的方式。

Step4: Post—reading:

1. 学生分角色读对话。(分组、 男女生、同桌)

2. 几组学生戴头饰进行对话表演。

3. Group work“Who is Super girl \Super boy?”

a. 请学生自己阅读以下文章:

Super girl

My name is super girl. I’m only six years old, but I’m very strong. At home, I always help my mother. I can sweep the floor, cook the meals and do the dishes. Doing housework is my favourite. At school, I’m a good student. I can read English. I can play football. I like using a computer. You see, I’m little, but I’m smart. Am I super? What about you?

b. 教师根据以上短文提几个问题。

c. 先在小组里讨论,推选出一位Super boy /Super girl.(最会干家务或最有才艺的),然后到全班面前交流。

Step5: Progress

1.做同步基础训练34题。       2.抄写四会句子,并创编一组对话。
