一.教学目标:
1.知识与技能目标:
(1) 学生能听懂、会说、认读并拼写下列词汇:zoo,
panda, monkey elephant big small
(2)
学生能听懂、会说并口头运用下列用语和句子:
The elephant is
big
The bird is
small
The panda is
fat
The monkey is
thin
2.过程与方法:
通过引导学生积极参与各项课堂活动,使学生养成动脑,动口的好习惯。指导学生拼写本课所学单词。运用语言知识进行日常交际,形成综合运用语言的能力。
3.情感态度价值观:
(1)培养学生仔细观察,认真模仿的良好习惯和主动竞争的意识。
(2)激发学生学习英语的兴趣,使学生树立学习英语的自信心。
(3)培养学生学会思考,学会倾听,学会讨论,学会表达和评价的能力。
(4)培养孩子们爱护动物的情感。
二、教学重点
1.掌握四会单词zoo panda monkey
elephant big small
2.听懂、会说并口头运用The elephant is
big。The bird is small
The panda is fat 。The
monkey is thin
三、教学难点:能熟练运用所学知识,同时注意培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立自信心。
四、教具准备:动物图片
录音机。
教学过程:
一、 Greeting
师:Good morning, boys and
girls. Nice to meet you!
生:Good morning, teacher.
Nice to meet you, too.
师:Sit down,
please.
生: Thank you.
二. Review
师:I love animals. Do you
love animals?
生: Yes.
师:Please say some
animals
生:Sheep、 duck 、chicken
….
师:Can you
say
教师做示范描述一种小动物。
师:Where are
they?
生:On the farm.
师:Yes ,they are on the
farm.你们能告诉我在哪里还可以看到动物呢?
生:动物园。
师 :Yes ,we can see animals
at the zoo. Do you want to go to the zoo to see the
animals?(如果学生听不懂,可用汉语解释,。)
生:Yes。
师:Then let’s go to the zoo
and see the animals at the zoo .
板书:Lesson 7 At the

讲解:At he
zoo(在动物园。)
师:Let’s go to the

师生重复两次,导入新课。
设计意图:复习有关动物的单词,由学生最感兴趣的问题“去动物园看动物”入手,提出建议,激发起学生学习英语的兴趣,导入新课教学。)
三.New concept
学习zoo, panda, monkey
elephant
1、师:展示动物园卡片。问:What is it
?
生:动物园。
师:重复Yes ,it’s a zoo. Repeat
several times.
生:Repeat after the
teacher.
2、师:At the zoo .there are
many animals. let’s go to the zoo and see the animals. but they are
shy. Can you guess what are they? The first one It is white and
white.它是我们的国宝。What is this?
生:用汉语回答“熊猫”。
师:Yes, It is a
panda.。分开来教读:panda . a panda、It
is
生:Repeat after the
teacher.
师:Ask again: What is this?
(Ask three students.)
生:It
is
师:It is a panda。 What does
it look like? It’s fat.(动作演示,或叫一胖学生演示fat胖。)重复几遍.
3、同样的方法教授: monkey, It is a
monkey ..elephant. It is an elephant.
4、Practice:1.利用图片复习本课所学动物单词。
学习The elephant is big。 The
bird is small。The panda is fat 。
The monkey is
thin。
1)教师拿出一张大象的图片说:Look at the
pictures. What’s this?
生: It’s an elephant.
教师拿出一张鸟的图片说:What’s this?
生: It’s a
bird.
2)师:对比一下它们两个有什么特征.
生: The elephant is big.
The bird is small.
教师指导学习句子:The elephant is big. The bird is
small.
What animal is big ? What animal is small ?
相同方法学习The panda is fat 。The
monkey is thin
(设计意图:运用图片教学、动作教学,直观、形象、生动、使学生学习兴趣浓厚,积极回答问题,易于学习新单词、新句型,突破重、难点知识。)
Practice : 1) what animal
do you like ? you can choose one and
say
2)听力练习:让学生打开课本,听并跟读.
3) let’s
chant教师教授自编歌谣。
(设计意图:用唱读形式,读起来朗朗上口,不但使学生学习兴趣达到高潮,便于重、难点的突破,同时也培养了学生的乐感,提高了学生的审美能力。)
七.小结:Boys and girls! The
animals are very pretty and lovely. We must love and protect
them.(照顾,保护他们)。OK?
