Students can read , say and aurally understand the following vocabulary:

1)  grandpa and grandma, old and young

2) Who  is  that  boy/girl?   Who  is  this  boy/girl?

通过情景的设置使学生与教师互动。激发学生兴趣，培养学生能力。提高教学质量。

通过本科的学习培养学生们爱自己的家，爱自己的家人。要求学生们尊敬长辈。从而引申出学生热爱集体，热爱祖国。

教材解读

   本课主要学习单词grandpa and grandma 的说法以及 old and young 的说法链接前面所学习的课文，以及主要人物的介绍，通过学习Li Ming的一家，引申到我们自己的家。内容比较简单，学生能够听、说和认读新授单词，并结合实物和情境运用所学句型。

学情分析

本课的教授对象是小学一年级学生。在学生已经掌握了爸爸、妈妈、哥哥和弟弟的英文说法，使得学习本课内容顺理成章。

教学重点

1.复习学过的单词。

2.掌握单词 grandpa  grandma  old  young。

教学难点

重点句型：This  is  my  grandpa/grandma.    He /she  is  old.       I  am  young.

Step 3 Presentation

1)Show them some picture of family.

2). Ask ”Who’s  family?” Then teach the Ss “father and mother.”

3)show them xiaoyu’s  family  picture.

If  you are  xiaoyu.  介绍你的家。

4) Show them more pictures and make some shadows to practice the sentences

4)观察图片上的人物特点，引出重点old  young。
