Lesson1《At the Airport》教学设计

六小 温春蕊

一、教学目标:

(一)、知识与技能:(1)本课要求学生能正确听、说、读、数字1-1000(三会)。

                    (2)四会重点句子:“ What time is it ? It’s __________ ”。

(二)、过程与方法:(1)做“ The number game”,复习1-1000的数字。

                    (2)通过自制教具钟表,激发学生兴趣,使学生学会四会句子。

                     (3)听录音,完成预习问题。

                    (4)通过学生自编朋友寒假开学来的见面对话,掌握课文内容。

(三)、情感态度价值观:

                    (1)运用多种教学手段激发学生学习英语的积极性,并力争能够让人人参与,通过鼓励、

                         表扬来让学生有成就感,对自己充满信心。

                    (2)培养学生珍惜时间,热爱生命的价值观。

二、预习作业

(1)学生搜集生活中遇到的数字,如:杂志中、食品包装上等,回忆表达方法,并且带到教室来。

(2)学生自制小钟表,培养学生动手能力。

(3)分层提出七个问题,分A,B,C三层完成。

三、教学重点、难点:

本课重点句子,会正确使用句子“ What time is it ? It’s __________ ”。

四、教具准备:tapes、cards、big clock

五、教学过程:

Step 1 Greeting (1minute)

Step 2 Review(2 minute)

① Play“ The number game” to review number , play with numbers up to ten thousand .

② Review the phrases :

What day is it ?  What time is it ?  (为本节课的时间表达打下基础,达成教学目标(一)(1))

Step 3 : Presentation (8minute)

1、Teaching “ What time is it ? ”

1) Use a big clock to teach “ What time is it ? ”

2) Demonstrate : Move the hands on the clock as I ask and answer the question . Then get volunteers to answer the question . Here’s a simple way to say some times in English . (教具的使用激发了学生们的学习兴趣。达成教学目标(一)(2))

1:45  one forty five

2:10  two ten

5:37  five thirty seven

8:00  eight o’clock

3)Extend knowledge :

2:10  two ten or ten past two

4:30  four thirty or half past three

9:00  nine o’clock or nine (对知识进行适当地拓展,顺利实现培优。)

Step4  Practice (10 minute)

① Practice in pairs

②Ask the volunteers to move the hands on the clock as they ask and answer the question .

(小组练习的活动提高孩子们口语表达能力,体现情感态度价值观(2))

Step5、Teaching “ the text ”(12)

1) When the students listen to the tape , think over the question :

①Where do Jenny , Danny , Li Ming live ? (C)

②Why is Li Ming coming to Canada ?  (B)

③When does Li Ming arrive ?(C)

  When will Li Ming go home ?(A)

  How long will Li Ming live in Canada ?(A)

④How does he come ?(B)

⑤What time did Li Ming’s plane arrive ?(C)

⑥Who meets him at the airport ?(B)

⑦Did he have a good trip ?(C)

2)Read the dialogue and discuss the questions in groups .(培养小组合作完成任务的能力)

3)Ask the students to answer the questions .

4)Read by themselves , then read role-play .

Step 6 Consolidation (1minute)

Make up a dialogue about meeting someone at the airport . Divide the class into small groups . Ask each group to include in their dialogue the question and answer . “ What time is it ? It’s ….     ”Enounce the students to be creative and to use as many English phrases as they can .

Step 7 Summary (1minute)

This lesson we understand that Li Ming arrived Canada . Danny and Jenny meet Li Ming at an airport . We learned how to ask and answer the phrases “ What time is it ? It’s….     ”.

Step 8 Homework

Write “What time is it ? It’s ________. ”
