  as wealthy as a/the country  富可敌国

  wealthy in...=rich in  eg: a man wealthy in compassion  感情丰富的人

8. mange to do sth （设法）成功完成/做到...   

  manage it/ sth oneself  自己能行/能做到/能解决

  manage a firm  经营公司  succeed in doing  成功做到  

  try to do  努力去做（未必成功）

9. gift→gifted ： have a gift for sth/doing sth 对...有天赋= be gifted in...=have a talent/

  genius for...

  a gifted /talented young man/singer 有天赋的年轻人/歌手

10. in the distance  在远处   at a distance  从一定距离

   at a distance of 从...距离  keep one's distance from...   与... 保持距离

11. dream of/about sth/doing sth  

  eg:  dream of/about being an astronaut  梦想成为宇航员

  dream a strange/good dream  做了个奇怪的/好梦
